They will definitely play for another hour or two.
Cobra and Peterius are being pressured by their opponents. I especially like Alex's game; he immediately has a lot of heroes working in all directions, and he breaks through everything without losses. Perhaps this is the strongest game I've seen from any player. There are practically no mistakes. But Napalm is also playing his game intelligently. I can't write about the matches yet, although I really want to, because the final battles are coming up soon.
Ah, if Stinger were in fighting shape, what a tournament it would be.
P.S. They saved the game at 11:30 PM and will finish it tomorrow morning; both are exhausted from the game. After the match, I will have many comments about this game, both organizational and gameplay-related. I can't do it now because the players are reading the forum.
Another P.S. Cobra defends, Peterius attacks. 2.1.5.
Cobra was going to take a break during the match but didn't make it. In general, this situation is not salvageable; it's very bad. Somewhere, they lost track of him, and Cobra managed to build up his forces, take a Utopia, get wings there, fly over the mountains, and take his opponent's Castle. They played for a long time, starting yesterday evening. He's lucky to be the winner.
They started finishing the matches from the third round of PReDS vs. Term and the second round of Napalm vs. AlexTheGreate.
Stinger finished a match with Mee Ramp against Dungeon on Jebus tonight in the dorm, I don't know the details because I went to sleep (and the match was in the room where I live ;)), but Stinger won.
Stinger was playing Rampart against Dungeon on Jebus in the dorm last night, I don't know the details because I went to sleep (and the game was in the room where I live ;)), but Stinger won.
Diman, if you're going to sleep, there's no way to wake you up anymore :)
I finally got home a couple of hours ago. :) Now I'm going to work with great reluctance. Good luck to everyone who is still playing!
PS I'll post the photos in the evening.
Если тебе не везёт в жизни, - играй в какую-нибудь другую игру:rolleyes: Лидер клана "Из многих единое" Приключения – это сплошные неприятности, только про них почему-то потом интересно вспоминать...
Someone has already started the 4th round, while Alex and Napalm are playing their long-awaited match from the second round. They set a limit of 5000+500 and, of course, completely exhausted it, and the game has already been going on for about 15 hours, if not more, in total. They could have already been playing the 3rd round.
Now there will be a final battle.
I don't know, this delay might mean I'll have to play tonight. The others are on schedule. Half of the participants have already lost their chances of winning prizes; after one more round, there will be very few contenders left.
Piterius and Medium went home, Alex gets +1 in the 3rd round (he was supposed to play as Piterius).
Thus, the following pairs for the 4th round were formed, playing for a place in the prize pool:
Stinger vs Van (already playing) AlexTheGreat(2) vs Bayazet(2) TERM(2) vs the loser of the Kobra-Napalm pair (2)
And also the final:
Preds(3) vs the winner of the Kobra-Napalm pair(3)
By agreement with the players, it was decided to divide the prize pool as follows - the winner receives 12K (and a crossbow), and the 4 players who scored 3 points receive 6K each (the total prize pool is 36K). That is, the Buchholz rating does not affect the size of the prizes.
Preds just won against Therma and scored 3 out of 3. Dima did a great job.
Now, about the game between Napalm and Alex. Alex got lucky and found a Utopia on week 2, which gave him the Fire Book and a Town Portal. Napalm found his Utopia on day 131, which gave him the Water Book and a Dungeon. He then effectively capitalized on his advantage by controlling the map. Although both players ended up with a Dungeon and a Town Portal, the difference in stats and army size was significant.
Napalm's Ivor (21, 24, 29, 17) - 368 mana. 14 Angels, 42 Wyverns, 70 Silver Pegasi, 114 Centaur Captains, 77 Elven Archers, +1 Silver Pegasus. And 650 Skeletons! An expert Armageddon with 1920 hit points, expert Prayer, Summon Fire and Water Elementals, and Raise Dead with such SP is deadly.
Alex's Tiraxor (18, 24, 18, 15) - 148 mana. - 9 Angels, 14 Gryphon Riders, 29 Wyverns, 83+1+1 Gryphon Wolves, 88 Goblins. Expert Explosion with 1300 damage, expert Summon Fire and Earth Elementals, Armageddon with 1260 damage, Berserk.
A huge advantage for the red faction. Even a well-developed army for Tiraxor and a lot of speed buffs for the troops couldn't save the situation. The army advantage was twofold, and the stats were also in Napalm's favor.
On his first turn, Tiraxor positioned himself and cast expert Berserk on 4 stacks of Ivor. In response, Napalm cast expert Prayer, and the skeletons were devastating... On his second turn, Napalm cast Armageddon, which wiped out all of Alex's stacks.
Despite all this, Alex played very well. We will upload the save files.
Napalm will now face Cobra, who has been waiting for this match for a long time.
Stay tuned for the broadcasts of the super match between Alex and Bayazet from round 4 (everyone expected them to compete for a spot in the finals) and the match between Napalm and Cobra from round 3.
Regarding the trades, I owed Alexey 1200; instead of taking the money, he transferred it to me. I noticed this first and offered him a choice: continue the game or regenerate without a restart - Alexey chose to play. The start in the underground was very tight; by day 117 I had fewer than 80 skeletons, and 2 unupgraded vampires were lost while breaking through the block to the sawmill. Day 121 - a tier-3 Griffin Conservatory with a grand stack. Then a long chase in search of opportunities. Day 132 - Bayazet kills the scout hero's growth and takes the starting town, showing 2 Dimension Doors; Tazar in the tavern has 20+ defense. Gosha runs through the snowdrifts to take the only revealed Dragon Utopia, specifically taking Pathfinding for it: there are wings and +4 attack/defense. The scout heroes capture a village, replenish Gosha's mana, place a scholar there for training visibility, and reveal a nearby Dragon Utopia; while Gosha takes +5 and +2 to all stats from it, the scouts reveal one more below - there is a Cloak of Knowledge for Expert Earth and +4 to all stats: something to show Tazar, since fighting him directly is already pointless. Then there was an option to jump through an Inferno Gate to the former pink computer and from there run to the Dragon Utopia revealed by Arlach in the distance, but I preferred to start recapturing the castles taken by Bayazet, hoping to provoke him into attacking - Tazar attacked on day 146. Physical damage was laughable, and an implosion for 1305 decided the fight; unfortunately for me, Alexey had enough money and he revived earlier than I could raise my dead. Throughout this time, I kept rebuilding the guild in the Rampart village, but no Dimension Doors appeared. I flew Gosha to the Dragon Utopias (Arlach revealed another one) and there I got a Fire Book, and in the last unit a fifth-level hat, offering Water in the last slot! I leveled up 2 times on trees and on day 217 decided to try to take Tazar's main town to avoid a Red Rush (I couldn't Town Portal to an inaccessible corner because I stupidly lost Luna) - Tazar had no mana, which allowed me to win the fight despite my mistakes.
The generator was kinder to me (by the final I took 5 Dragon Fly Hives and 2 Dragon Utopias) than to Vanya, which allowed me to win the FB despite Vanya having 119 grand rank 7 lizards and 9 angels.
Cobra def Napalm.
Sergey had a good start, immediately defending against a dragon ambush, and after going through the portal, there were two of them. But one was defeated by a scout with snipers, and the other – in the Hive.
Napalm had no more revives left, Cobra wins in the final.
