A super ability is great, but by the time you get it, you'll already have a decent army, good artifacts, and not much left from your opponents, because the bigger your army, the more experience you gain, and consequently, the more skeletons you have. And the elves' constant luck is, of course, great, but it often triggers with artifacts in a simple build.

Well, not exactly. For example: Elemental Fury - chain damage is increased by 2 times. But what's the point, if you can't take any magic to reach it. Damage from the 2nd level will be like 4 approximately. There's no point; it would have been better if Chaos magic were required to achieve the ability. At least the spells would be more powerful, but of course there are problems with the Warlock's knowledge, so there will be pluses of the 4th level at the price of the 2nd. What did you expect? The super ability is a matter of luck; you need to choose skills in a specific order from the very beginning. Search the internet; there's a scanner that shows which skills will be available to you. And in general, it's not worth relying on it. IMHO, by the time you reach it, you won't need it anymore.
This ability seems to be a hindrance. You want to create the perfect hero according to your preferences, but chasing after a specific ability, you end up not being happy with the result because you had to sacrifice your favorite attributes!
