You're wrong about Heroes 4. Its only downside is the AI level.

I already said that I didn't understand Heroes 4 at first, I didn't like it, but then I saw many advantages in it. The alt-upgrades change the style of combat, I liked the progression system, and I really liked the idea of introducing caravans, etc. There are many advantages in Heroes 4, and the AI level is quite acceptable, maybe it's not noticeable on the first two difficulty levels.
In general, I like the game, and I still play it online with friends...

Heroes 3 is definitely the best. The perfect balance makes the game very interesting. I always hoped that the developers of Heroes 6 would surprise us and simply finish what they started with Heroes 3.

It will turn out to be utter nonsense; we need to move forward and not dwell on the past. And the balance isn't perfect either, except perhaps in Wog, but many of the ideas there are absurd. It's better for them to continue working on the 6th installment...

That's just your opinion, not the opinion of the global fan community, which recognizes that the factions in Heroes of Might and Magic III are well-balanced, although Warlock was decent, but many ideas are very absurd...
But Heroes of Might and Magic IV is still better (IMHO):):):):):)

Actually, I don't care much about the opinions of people who haven't really played online, or haven't played at all, and just play against the computer (i.e., noobs), whether it's a hundred people or a million.

What's important is that people who understand the game
don't think that way, and I agree with them. And the claims that the game is balanced just elicit LOLs and hysterical laughter.

I've been playing WoG for almost 4 years. Now I've switched to SoD. And all my experience tells me that WoG, with its commander special abilities, creature experience, and other "features," destroys the balance the longer the game lasts; this is especially noticeable on large maps. Although there are certainly more possibilities and variety on the maps in WoG.

of course, the tactical phase is richer in "Heroes of Might and Magic V", but my beloved "Heroes of Might and Magic III", worn out from countless playthroughs, is still infinitely dear to my heart...

even though I like the 5th installment, I play the old and good 3rd Heroes, because Heroes 3 is like Mozart or The Lord of the Rings - a classic for the ages.

Heroes 5 has changed completely=( I agree that the graphics are better there, and there might be something else that's good, BUT the downside is that it lost the atmosphere of the game that was in Heroes 3, and even if not completely, it was passed on to the fourth installment =) I don't know why)) but in Heroes 5, everything is in 3D, and the resources and everything else have lost their charm from the old days.

And weapons are better than just stones and sticks, yes.

So, there will be polished sticks and engraved stones. But it just won't be the same. Because Ubisoft can't do it.
