Funeral For A Friend - The Getaway Plan

Metalcore, guys. If you believe Winamp and the genre tag.

Tag. It's called a tag, not an addition in the field.
Also, they like to write about Hunta there. They constantly write nonsense. I always edit everything myself when I download, because they are liars and very big trolls. You can trust Last more, and Last says it's emo, post-hardcore, and emocore.

and Winamp is boring.

Slayer - Disciple

Slayer - Angel Of Death

Slayer is great at fragging in Quake 3.

Wolves, you're so naive. Bands often have songs of different genres (maybe except for metal, because they play the same thing all their lives). Sometimes these are B-sides or covers, but it also happens that a band completely changes its genre during its existence. So everything is fine with what's written there; they have several such songs.

Skindred - Set It Off

Genre classification is very conditional in itself.

maybe except for metal, since they listen to the same thing all their lives

You should listen to metal, read biographies, and study the subject before writing.
They always write the same tag for the entire album, without understanding what genre each song is in. They might assign different genres to different albums.

Dark Lunacy - Motherland

And in general, it would be funny if they listened to emo. The guy is 30 years old, and he walks around with a black fringe, lol. Not to mention that people change throughout their lives. The same applies to music. I've often seen discussions about the music of certain bands and identified three types of listeners. There are old-school fans who will always be devoted to the first albums, always saying that the band has deteriorated, gone downhill, or become pop. The second type eats up everything the band creates. This type can be called fanatics. And there are those who listen to something from both the old and the new, because there are both pros and cons in any changes. The main thing is to be able to distinguish them. This isn't just the case with music, but also with games and everything else. Although you already know this, so my post was pointless, but I still wanted to express myself.

Did you switch from one metal genre to another? No, I meant a more radical change of genre, not a subgenre.

It would actually be funny if they played emo music. The guy is 30 years old, and he walks around with black bangs, lol.

Lol, what?)
Just because he plays emo music doesn't mean he belongs to the modern emo subculture. I, for example, like various types of metal, but I don't wear chains and a leather jacket. And I don't want long hair because of my love for metal.)

Subgenres of metal can differ even more than one non-metal genre from another.
Therion abruptly switched from death metal to pure symphonic metal (they were actually the first to start playing symphonic metal). The difference between these genres is greater than between metalcore and punk rock.

you're wrong about alternative rock, because the alternative to the alternative is Rosen, and everything is attributed to it.

well, metalcore isn't exactly an alternative. metalcore is a mix of hardcore and metal, and hardcore is like a heavier version of punk rock. so, in fact, it's the opposite – metalcore is closer to punk.

Damn. Because of Last.fm, I stopped skipping songs and now I'm used to it. I have random play on, and now I have to listen to everything because it seems unfair to the songs I would have skipped.

Genre division is very conditional in itself.

And Wolf tried to divide things and wrote to me about what Last.fm says.

Plain White T's - Livin' On A Prayer

me? what did I do? I'm not arguing that they might have played a couple of metal songs. And the categorization is always subjective; often, it's hard to even determine which genre a particular song belongs to.

Butyrka – enough with the sad songs.
