the same - old age is not a joy.

Doesn't Slayer have any growl vocals?

I don't know, I haven't listened to them much, I don't think so, but they're good even without it. And I don't like growl vocals at all, it's just noise, IMHO!

olololo
growl can be different, you know.

Tom Araya has an amazing harsh vocal style. With growls, it would already be death metal. Listen to the album Reign in Blood, they play almost speed metal there. Children of Bodom - Bloddrunk

Darling Thieves - Unspoken

I would post a clip, but unfortunately, the forum rules prohibit it.

Maximum The Hormone - Kyokatsu

Cat, the MtH album is really good.

Does Slayer have a more brutal album?

Probably not, it's not death metal after all. And for thrash, they're quite heavy.
Actually, if you want good thrash, listen to Megadeth. Although they don't sound like Slayer, and some even say they're not really thrash.

Spirit of Sorrow - Silence's fortification

Not bad atmospheric black metal, worth a listen, although the vocals are a bit grating.

Ruble - Polkolenie

Brainstorm – Ветер

Sirenia - Meridian
