Your opinion on the Heroes 5 demo!

I've only played for an hour, but I liked it; everything that was annoying in the beta has been removed, the horse is back, and it's more pleasant to play—most importantly, it doesn't lag now.

I was pleased with the reworked building tree, which was too confusing in the beta. And the horse is good too – it even feels a bit less clunky now :) I haven't really tried it out yet, so I'll give my opinion later.

Guys, I'm new to your site, but I've been playing this series for a long time, and like you, I'm eagerly awaiting the fifth installment of Heroes. But... I downloaded the demo and was a little disappointed... I don't need anyone to tell me to try this or that; I'm not a noob, I can figure it out myself. BUT... CD drive works Sound: Audigy 2 NX So, judging by the requirements, the game should run smoothly. But I'm not saying it's lagging. However, no matter how I try, at all resolutions and settings, in certain places it stutters, i.e., when I rotate the map, it stutters in the same spot. I repeat, at all resolutions, at all levels of detail... Oh, I'm so afraid that this is just my computer... Enough with the disappointment in our developers, enough with the Lords, Pirates, etc. (if I offended anyone, I'm sorry, although I myself enjoy playing Pirates). I'm expecting great things from Nival... I'm hoping for a lot of gaming happiness... P.S.: I hope it will be so...

Well, I don't know, but on my Athlon 2000+ Barton, GeForce4 Ti4200, and with 768 RAM, everything runs perfectly on high settings! :cool:

Another piece of good news (especially for me) is that the hero has been moved to the right, and the inventory to the left. Now, heroes are displayed on the terrain they are actually on, rather than on a standard grassy background. Here's an example of a beautifully designed heroine from Haven.

What I suspected happened: after playing the demo, fans completely changed their opinion about Heroes 5 (for the better), and I no longer see any reason to fear that "Heroes is dead."
So, we can calmly spend our time playing Heroes 3 or the demo of Heroes 5 (for those who have it; I don't have the opportunity to download it due to my terrible internet connection) until the release of the main domestic project in history.
P.S. Can anyone tell me the release date for Heroes 5? Different sources are giving different information.

I would have never downloaded it myself (bad internet), but there are still kind people in this white and fluffy world!!! If it weren't for my friend, I would have continued to torture myself with doubts and questions like "what will Heroes V be like???", now I have an idea of what the Heroes will be!!! I just sat there with my jaw dropped (not literally ;) ) Nival restored hope (for me) that "Heroes lived!!! Heroes is alive!!! Heroes will live!!! In five, I liked almost everything (even the map size), only the four-cell units are out of place)...........
Actually, I'm here for a different question. How do I listen to the Soundtracks in Heroes? Because when I try to launch them, it tells me something like "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file type or codec used to compress the file might not be supported by Windows Media Player." what should I do???

Guys, help me out. I was downloading for 700 meters for two whole days without a break, and when the game finally installed, it crashes in the middle of loading. Why is this happening? P.S. It crashes in the middle of loading maps and campaigns.
