I tried playing a custom map with water. I wouldn't recommend making islands, for example, when playing on a custom map, the Haven faction will be on a dock, and it will be easy to sail from one dock to another. If you place the water normally, it becomes more familiar. Only the respawn points will be slightly smaller due to the water.
Let's do some brainstorming. Will the Fireball spell reduce the Gnomes' Berserk resistance by half? What is the Unicorn's aura percentage? Will the aura percentage and the Gnomes' resistance add up?

Let's do some brain work. Does the Fireball spell reduce the resistance of Dwarves to blunt damage by half? )) What percentage is the Unicorn's aura? Will the percentage from the aura and the resistance of the Dwarves add up?
Fireball - no Unicorn's aura - 20% They will add up - yes IMHO P.S. We are waiting for precise answers from Dirty :)

There are rumors that resistances don't stack, but each one works separately.
Resistance is never added together and wouldn't even be added together theoretically!! The Aura of Unity is like 15%.. The Sphere of Fire reduces resistance, what did you smoke??? Give me some))) The same can be said about the other spheres: water for water creatures, air for storm creatures, etc.
I used to think that the unicorn's aura gives 5%, but it turns out it's 20%. Regarding the summation. If the resistance of dwarves (20%) and unicorns works as a sum, then the resistance will be 40% (0.2 + 0.2 = 0.4), and if each works separately, then 36% (1 - 0.8 * 0.8 = 0.36). The difference, in theory, is not significant.
To find out the truth, you need to test a high-level Thorgrym and give him 100% resistance (for example, Battle Dwarves 40% + Resistance Expert 15% + resistance artifacts 15% + the necessary level). If they are summed, then you can bombard him with Arcomage for 100 rounds, and everyone will remain alive, but if they are multiplied, then it will not be possible to achieve 100% resistance, and someone will die.
In short, I don't have reliable information on this issue. Someone tested it, and they say that each works separately, but I don't really believe it.

I generated a map, and it turned out to be absurd - the map is simply framed with water, and there is almost no point in using ships. :(
Sem, spend at least some time studying the theory; you've played so many games, but you still don't know the basics. Fire is right.
Jebus on the islands turns out to be interesting; each zone is on its own island, and the shipyards are guarded by GOs. The only downside is that there are no objects in the water, except for debris, nothing else is generated.

Will Fireball reduce the resistance of dwarves to berserk attacks by half?
How did that even come to mind? I'm just interested in the thought process.

These aren't my thoughts. But I decided to check, just in case. So, the sphere only helps in combat?

I wonder, how can you "increase the damage dealt by the Blind spell by 50%"?
You can reduce the resistance to it by 50% :D Actually, it would be logical to increase the duration by 50%. I was wondering how fire affects blindness. I didn't know... :)

This is where the spell to summon a ship could be useful, unless the rules state that only ships built at the shipyard can be used.
