Please advise. Today, I bought Heroes with 2 expansions. When I try to play through LAN, it asks for a network key. I bought the game on gamepitstop.ru. The game came with keys, but they were entered when I launched the game. Basically, I would like to know if this activation key and the network key are the same thing. Or was I scammed, and should they send me another key (for playing online)?

During installation, nothing was requested from me. Heroes V TotE DVD-box. Anyway, try entering it; I don't think it's difficult.

I play on a laptop, and everything works perfectly for me. I think it's easier to find another game disc or tinker with the video settings.

Laptops often have weaker graphics cards, especially netbooks. Of course, you can try adjusting the settings, but I know of a case where that didn't help.

I can't even imagine how you can play Heroes with 5 players on a netbook. Maybe you should update the drivers for your video card...

There's one problem; I hope I posted in the right place. I installed Tribes of the East on my laptop, and I noticed that there's simply no water. Could you please tell me how to fix this? All other textures work normally, except for the mercury flasks; they have blue liquid in them for some reason. I tried reinstalling with a complete registry cleanup, but it didn't help. Resetting the settings to the minimum both in the game and on the video card, along with a complete driver reinstallation and patching the game to version 3.1, also didn't help. I should note that out of all the games on my laptop, these glitches only occur with Heroes. The system requirements are more than met. Oh, yes, the game was installed on another computer before, and it worked without any glitches. :smile45:
