Well, what can I say... playing Smells Like Teen Spirit on the cello is definitely cool. It's not as energetic as the original, but I give him credit for trying.
And then playing Vivaldi's "Winter" and following it up with a U2 song. :D

Well, that's just awful.
Sometimes, someone asks me to suggest a few songs for their VK wall – like, two, three, four, or five. They want to know what I listen to, what metal is, and so on. But how, HOW can you explain it with just five songs? It's impossible, lol. First of all, they usually want to know about metal, but there are so many different kinds! Hundreds of completely different genres. There are almost as many metal subgenres as there are all other music genres combined, maybe even more, I don't know. Also, if you suggest your favorite bands, it's impossible to describe a great, brilliant band with just one song (or even five). Take Nightwish, for example; I can't choose five best songs because all their songs are the best for me. And I can't even guess which ones would be the best for others. Plus, the band's songs are diverse; some are heavier, some are softer, they have different moods, and each has its own unique feature. That's why one song by a band might not appeal to someone (maybe not even at first), while another might. So, if I suggest one Nightwish song, it might have something that this particular person doesn't like, while the others would be quite appealing. You need to go for sure-fire hits and suggest many songs. And that's just one band, one subgenre. To properly describe everything, I need... at least eight subgenres (I just counted), and more bands, with several songs for each.
I wrote that person and suggested twenty-one songs instead of five, which is four bands. If they don't hate me immediately for that, I'll write them another thirty or forty later

Yeah, if some random person asked me to share what I listen to... I'd probably share a couple of songs by Fleur/Melnitsa/Tem Greenhill, and then a couple by Death/Graveworm/Amon Amarth, and see their reaction :) My friends are used to my diverse taste in music :)
But explaining what metal is on the spot... Even after listening to it for 6 years, I don't fully understand it myself :rolleyes:
