How right Neverminder was: a second's lapse in attention, and triumph turns into bitter defeat.

I honestly was sure that I would win now (in FB almost until the very end it seemed I would win), and paid dearly for it
The armies were roughly equal, maybe just a slight edge on my side, but the parameters the opponent raised at the last moment — 50 mana, Lightning 4/110 vs my 5/30, and Mass Slow — decided the outcome. 9 Dendroid Guards moved 1 cell at a time, 11 Evil Eyes and a Ballista shot them down.

There were 2 restarts, I took the second one in an ambiguous situation, maybe I shouldn't have. But nevertheless, on the third try I was quite lucky, Bron was in the tavern with 8 basilisks and 3 serpents. I decided to play. The respawn turned out not great, large, but without money buildings. One of the roads was blocked by a pack of marksmen, cutting off half the respawn.
On the first week I took the only crypt, and a scout hero took a secondary Tower town. I built 1-4,6 in the citadel, took 2 external dwellings of lizardmen and 1 of gnolls.
On day 221 I upgraded the serpents and broke through the marksmen, the road led to a portal. During the second week I broke through 2 imp caches, a crypt in the snow, and on day 127 a medusa dwelling. 1-7 in the castle. A Dragon Utopia was spotted in the snow, but quite far. Confidence in a favorable outcome appears, since judging by the tavern, my opponent's affairs are not going well.
On the 3rd week I enter the portal, on the way I take an external dwelling of wyverns. The portal leads to a secondary Rampart town, I capture it. Under the secondary town there is a Dragon Utopia and a Library, nearby 2 medusa dwellings and 2 conservatories, swarms of griffins around. Carelessly I entered one of the medusa dens, where I lost 8 basilisks and a wyvern on 50 medusas with Magic Mirror. I built chains, Tazar 3-7-2-2, starts leveling up, I'm afraid to enter the conservatories until I get Expert Earth, I take the medusa dwelling, Pandora's Box, and the Library with the loss of 1 wyvern, just reaching level 10.
4th week, reinforcements arrive, I get Expert Earth and take both conservatories with the loss of a behemoth due to morale, they contained 7 angels in total. I send the behemoths, gnolls, and wyverns back home to be upgraded. On day 146 I take the Dragon Utopia, losing only gnolls, but it only has a Crown for +4+4, the rest is junk. Immediately I engage a fire dragonfly and go to take the second Dragon Utopia in the snow. On day 211 with reinforcements I take that one too, it has a Bow of the Sharpshooter and Sandals of the Saint. I teleport to the main area, upgrade the hydras, and on day 213 I break through 4 Crystal Dragons (GO). The next turn I approach the opponent's town, he surrenders.

Opp picked all the rests, and I got lucky on the last rest.
On the first week - 2 stacks of Minotaurs + 2 secondary skills. Had problems with money and resources, so I didn't build the Castle or Minotaurs. Sacrificed all Troglodytes in Naga Banks, but on the second week built the Castle, upgraded the Minotaurs. On the third week I was about to sack 2 Dragon Utopias for some solid income, but then the opponent's hero popped out at my respawn. FB showed that the opponent had nothing.. Apparently a poor respawn..
Shakti: 13-8-2-3 (36 gr. Minotaurs, 10 Evil Eyes, 50 Troglodytes)
Lacus: 5-3-2-1 (51 gr. Archers, 4 gr. Cavaliers, about 20 Halberdiers)

First week. Damn it all! Nothing real except a stack of pokemons. I fight for every pile of gold, scrounge it up, but by the end of the week I had enough for 1(upgrade)2(upgrade)34 in the Stronghold. Now the question...
Respawn is big. Potentially I can break through to the right (through many water elements), to the left (many Horned Demons), up (Dwarf Cottage (kawaii)). I run up, take the Dwarves - further "up" is a dead end. I run right - there's a big Pandora's Box guard just sitting on the road. No time, I set up Cavaliers and at 131 I break through "left"... there I quickly found the opponent, who handed me 36 hasted Minotaurs)
Game without a single Griffin Conservatory or Skeleton Transformer, and there were no more rests) What a pain in the ass!)

We won't overcomplicate things, but I'd rather not just focus on one template either. So we'll ban templates like castles. Honestly, template bans are already practiced in almost all official tournaments on HeroesWorld.
I've determined four templates: 2sm4d(3), jebus, mini-nostalgia, 8mm6.
I'm waiting for your suggestions for a fifth. Balance is often taken as standard, but I don't like it. We could take Anarchy, for example.. or even Yolka.. In short, something more exotic

Panic is weak, choose Anarchy.

As for me, 8mm6a is the most interesting map ;) I manage to clear it the most often.

Take Jebus Cross so that you get used to doing it anyway, instead of being afraid to take Hives and Constructs until the 4th week of battle (as some people write...).

If the situation were worse, I would have taken it on the third turn. But I decided to play it safe and play more reliably, especially since my opponent has fewer towns, fewer heroes, and a weaker main hero.
