Well, in the second game, I was supposed to win. In the third week, I had 9 angels on the board, and I thought I had it in the bag and relaxed. In the final, on expert tactics, and for some reason, without thinking, I immediately sent my angels to attack 550 skeletons with 7 health. I could have easily used my two ranged stacks to shoot at them directly and not expose myself, letting him slow down and have his skeletons move towards me two squares at a time... I still had a slight speed advantage due to the artifact...

Stiky, you should have written a better recap. I understand there was one game between the finalists – Alex's red Castle against Moretti's blue Rampart. Castle won. The winner of the upper bracket, Alex, won the first game, so does that mean he's the tournament winner? (judging by the Wikipedia definition of full double elimination). The video of the final was so boring to watch – a very simple game – 20 minutes long.
