Let those who couldn't make it regret it – we're having a buffet right now. :smile08: ... This is written by Nagan, too lazy to log in as himself.
I regret it too :smile35: :smile05:
P.S. Say hello to everyone! And give special greetings to Mizrael, with my small but sincere apologies regarding WoD. I really wish I could be with you right now, and raise a toast to our friendly Heroes community... :(

Lost to Skorp. The hat spawned – a huge number of Troglodytes, but nothing else to apply those Troglodytes to. On day 123, I encountered 460 Skeletons with advanced Haste and couldn't handle them.
Then I beat Artem under chaos rules; his computers overwhelmed him on xm12, and he surrendered on day 124, the day before I arrived.
1. Scorp - 3 out of 3. 2. Vik - 2 out of 3. 3. Mizrael - 1.5 out of 2. 4. Leha - 1.5 out of 3.
Vik said he would be the judge for the finals. Well, if I'm the organizer, I don't object. And the fact that Scorp, Mizrael, and Leha made it only makes me happy; they are truly the best players in the region.
For now, some creative moments. Scorp brilliantly, in a poker-style move, tricked Vik, implying that he doesn't know how to play with Necromancers. Indeed, 460 skeletons on day 9 or 10, controlled by Galthran with haste...
A life-affirming scene: two trolls provoke a third...
An absolutely hilarious AK (Ace-King) hand! It came out spontaneously and unexpectedly. The laughter was quite something.
A huge thank you! To all the guests who came to our small tournament - Vik, Mizrael, and Scorp. To the local players who managed to participate in the championship - Leha, Tyoma, Cannabis, and Zlo. And of course, to the fans - Alexgrid and Alpha, even though they didn't play, they participated in the event in one way or another.
Also, thank you to Lord, Kaoru, Sapsan, Fulu, and DA - local enthusiasts who participated in the amateur games on fixed maps.
Overall, it was great; it's a shame that I can't organize such gatherings very often.
Scorp is generally cunning and resourceful. Congratulations. We're waiting for those who didn't make it to the finals to participate in the selection process in Kingisepp from January 3rd to 7th. Napalm will provide the exact information tomorrow or the day after.
Skorp is a cunning fellow indeed, a sneaky pro :) Congratulations. We're waiting for those who didn't make it to the finals to qualify in Kingisepp on January 3-7. Exact info from Napalm will be posted tomorrow or the day after.
edited it a little ;)
THANK YOU
When things got rolling, I planned to go just as a spectator, but upon entering the club, two fighters (Artyom and Alexey) and the Referee were already waiting for us :) (Erik) — so I had to play. The draw pitted me against Artyom, and Mizrael against Alexey (their game was quite intriguing).
My Dungeon vs Castle, we started..., then Victor showed up..., started commenting on my mega game — like he immediately knew what kind of player was at the computer (the GG was collecting scrolls on gold 114, etc :smile40:) — PS: no need to even try to convince Victor I couldn't play anymore, he was already making up his own stories )). On month 3, I took a Dragon Utopia with Dimension Door (stats 3 11 ...), and then Pira (the opponent's GG) shows up with something worthless — I attacked to replenish mana (60 max), Pira ran away... then I took another Dragon Utopia + КЗ and went to the opponent's Castle, without mana I didn't attack the capital with Pira and all the meat — instead I collected stat boosters, and spotted a well, figuring if he doesn't attack, I get the well and the GG, and if he does attack, he buys peace — that's exactly what happened, under 30 of my upgraded Wyverns were halved by an explosion, through wait in the first round I killed 2 Angels, and in the second a stack of Wyverns, then bought peace — and then I was given the victory.
Mizrael and Alexey's game would have been a very long match (another 8 hours), so they offered a draw, and I was automatically pitted against Victor :smile03:
In the evening, with a slightly changed lineup, we started assessing my future opponent's skill on an unfamiliar template... poker The comrade showed how easily he could be manipulated, and on black he simply beat himself (although I think I had the nuts even with a block — 10% necromancy)
Morning Even the poker players had slept enough, Erik starts waking everyone up, saying it's time, then someone "nudged" the sleeping Yura — and the phrase "SoD kicked TE's ass"(c) was born... My struggle wasn't about Castle strength, but about the duration of army transfers — since Victor's only complaint, and only a couple of times, was the lack of a laiter (he was too lazy to download it), the remaining towns were Dungeon and Necromancer — I was hoping Necromancer would be picked, but sadly Victor took a deadly Shakti, I was upset — the plan failed, oh well, time to remember how to play as him :D The template was 8mm6, immediately one road blocked by 20+ Lizardmen (as it turned out later, 40+ upgraded) and then 50+ Earth Elementals (close to 99) — which disrupted my other plans: +1000 exp --> 10% necromancy --> +1000*2 and then we'd see, and that's what happened, Gosha quickly got Expert Necromancy and was helped by an Advanced Necromancer collecting bones. Then I killed the neutral, well, actually just captured an empty town, left the army there, and on 117 I attacked the capital to break the blocks on which I lost 3 heroes ((. Broke through into 2 portals (fought them off but didn't take the +3/+3 shield) and stood at the Treasury, a scout took 450 bones and dives into the second portal — there's Gunnar (few Angels, several Cats, several Wyverns, 100+ upgraded Troglodytes (180), Eyes) in a cage from the portal — return the army and wait / bones no more than 499, so I had no doubt the miner would be attacked because I had already shown my fishy reputation :smile40: / unfortunately too many bones + haste against a hero without a spell book — and Victor conceded victory.
The third game is hard to describe, there were three home Griffin Conservatories for Conflux, but on 114, Greek Hack was cornered trying to push through to a secondary with 20+ upgraded Eyes and got wiped, unfortunately...
Everything was really enjoyable, especially Victor's persistence in bowling — someone who had never played it, creating suspense with strikes, Victor was on fire :smile40: they said he was left-handed, but he was throwing with his right... strike :D
Huge thanks to everyone for the action!!! and a fun company!!! for organizing this!!!
PS: almost forgot the most important thing — now there's one more in the clan of SoD players, and he was so happy to play some SoD ;)
I'll leave a comment too :) Arrived at the location, not many people, but there were enough opponents for everyone, and it was on. I ended up playing with Lekha; my tower got scratched against Inferno, chaos ruled. I pretty quickly reached my computer opponent and took over an empty Inferno—the AI had placed dogs and cages there... Vik, passing by, suggested switching to Inferno, so in the end, I put ifrits on the first slot and dove into demonology from the end of week 2; at home, only golems were in the Stronghold. I whipped up some goats, broke two Dragon Utopias; in the first one, they gave me a book of air and a red orb, but a bunch of taverns say my power is lower... I took a risk with a reconnaissance-in-force, wiped out the chains and killed the opponent's capital growth, picked up several upgrades along the way, and headed back. That was the end of the game day; Lekha has more meat, but I have Neila with 100 mana, which gives flight + 4DD + air view = you can boldly take one castle per day from the AI and eat the map; at poker, I suggested a draw so as not to drag it out and got agreement. I had no luck at poker—the dealer probably can't deal to himself, because I didn't win a single coin :D However, I rattled everyone's nerves a bit with my blind play :) After the night poker and buffet, we woke up surprisingly easily; in the club, I ended up playing Eric—my swamp against Castle. The "cornflowers" (archers) ruled, but it wasn't meant to be—no sulfur or mercury.. I fought my way to my barbarian AI and again an empty castle :) I switched to barbs, and Gretchen became a mother; the AI runs to reclaim its homeland, but after building birds, the mother quickly takes him down, and boots drop from one of the heroes :) I built wyverns and birds in Strongholds, spread across the map, and from the start of week 3 broke a couple of "cans" (bears in Castle since week 2). 141 - Dragon Utopia; with that money, I upgraded my bears and went to clear the map, but it generated a ton of one-sided encounters and I had to scramble quite a bit. In the end, the game dragged on for ages (Scorp managed to play 2 :)), but by the end of the day, the mother finally found something—in another Dragon Utopia they gave wings and decent stats (attack went over 40) and finally grabbed logs for the boots and gloves. Before a new round of the buffet, the host decided to give me the game  We had a fun evening (Scorp and Eric were "treating" Vik about how glad he was that he finally played SoD :D, and that's how the phrase "like two trolls treating a third" was born :)), there was poker too. And the next day we decided to just hang out as a group, because the games weren't critical anymore. Thanks everyone for the chat and games, special thanks to Eric for the hospitality! Had a great rest and got charged with positivity! :smile03:
I've started describing the games based on save files. Unfortunately, there are very few of them.
Previously, people didn't hesitate to save after each turn, even when playing on a 4-minute timer.
I'll try to finish it by the weekend. :)
Ugh... finally, I'll try to write a report? But where are the saves? I downloaded them from all the computers, but there weren't many saved games, even though I asked them to save.
Well, never mind, I'll start by describing a battle between three players from the amateur qualifier on a map from the standard "Xatra's Prize" set. That's why I love these games; one decisive mistake isn't necessarily fatal, opponents forgive, and the battles are especially interesting, and it's unclear who will win until the very end.
