I'll leave a comment too :) Arrived at the location, not many people, but there were enough opponents for everyone, and it was on. I ended up playing with Lekha; my tower got scratched against Inferno, chaos ruled. I pretty quickly reached my computer opponent and took over an empty Inferno—the AI had placed dogs and cages there... Vik, passing by, suggested switching to Inferno, so in the end, I put ifrits on the first slot and dove into demonology from the end of week 2; at home, only golems were in the Stronghold. I whipped up some goats, broke two Dragon Utopias; in the first one, they gave me a book of air and a red orb, but a bunch of taverns say my power is lower... I took a risk with a reconnaissance-in-force, wiped out the chains and killed the opponent's capital growth, picked up several upgrades along the way, and headed back. That was the end of the game day; Lekha has more meat, but I have Neila with 100 mana, which gives flight + 4DD + air view = you can boldly take one castle per day from the AI and eat the map; at poker, I suggested a draw so as not to drag it out and got agreement. I had no luck at poker—the dealer probably can't deal to himself, because I didn't win a single coin :D However, I rattled everyone's nerves a bit with my blind play :)
After the night poker and buffet, we woke up surprisingly easily; in the club, I ended up playing Eric—my swamp against Castle. The "cornflowers" (archers) ruled, but it wasn't meant to be—no sulfur or mercury.. I fought my way to my barbarian AI and again an empty castle :) I switched to barbs, and Gretchen became a mother; the AI runs to reclaim its homeland, but after building birds, the mother quickly takes him down, and boots drop from one of the heroes :) I built wyverns and birds in Strongholds, spread across the map, and from the start of week 3 broke a couple of "cans" (bears in Castle since week 2). 141 - Dragon Utopia; with that money, I upgraded my bears and went to clear the map, but it generated a ton of one-sided encounters and I had to scramble quite a bit. In the end, the game dragged on for ages (Scorp managed to play 2 :)), but by the end of the day, the mother finally found something—in another Dragon Utopia they gave wings and decent stats (attack went over 40) and finally grabbed logs for the boots and gloves. Before a new round of the buffet, the host decided to give me the game  We had a fun evening (Scorp and Eric were "treating" Vik about how glad he was that he finally played SoD :D, and that's how the phrase "like two trolls treating a third" was born :)), there was poker too. And the next day we decided to just hang out as a group, because the games weren't critical anymore.
Thanks everyone for the chat and games, special thanks to Eric for the hospitality! Had a great rest and got charged with positivity! :smile03:
