U.'s Diary

Detective Registr arrived in the city in the evening and spent the rest of the day trying to unravel the events unfolding there. He discovered that the city is preparing for a fight – in addition to a few brave citizens, a practicing doctor, the only surviving local policeman, and a priest have taken up the defense of the city. He also found out why news of the unrest hasn't reached other cities yet – the people responsible for the murders, most likely a certain organization, have extensive connections – they have people in the city telegraph office, at the post office, and in the newspaper offices. However, he was unable to find the organization itself – they found him first. All the difficulties of the investigation now fall on the shoulders of his loyal friend and assistant, who is writing these lines.

The local merchant Arandor was found in his home, or rather, what was left of him. The killer was extremely brutal and, after inflicting dozens of stab wounds, dismembered the unfortunate merchant's body.

In one of the newspapers, amidst the unfolding horror, an unusually peaceful article appeared – a well-known artist living in the city decided to hold an exhibition of his works at such an inappropriate time. The article included an interview with this artist.

Regarding the events of the night:
The Doc is a good boy, the policeman is a good boy, the maniac is super cool (I would have killed Ara myself if I were the maniac, because he has the highest probability of catching the policeman).
The Journalist messed up, the mafia players took out coma (bastards :( ), although the sergeant is alive and has the check results.

In the pair Xostor — Aziral, there is at least one peaceful non-maf.
