And she has a good starting position, especially if you get the Amulet of the Elements as a starting artifact (which happens often), because Dyraelle can quickly get Fire Elementals, and with them, clearing out archers and strong infantry becomes much easier (and if you manage to get a trap, it's even better).

In general, all of Sylvan's heroes are excellent. For example, Talanar is simply an ideal secondary hero for increasing growth, bringing in an additional 250 gold per day after a couple of treasure chests, and he comes with a Ballista and can bring 40-50 Dancers at the end of the game before the final battle (a great feature, right?)! And you say Lordset has bad heroes. No, Sylvan's heroes are the best of all! Actually, I've come to appreciate Dancers a lot lately. At first, I thought that Nymphs were more important in the endgame, as they attack without retaliation, and Ents heal, but they get taken out very quickly by the enemy after a couple of turns, they don't last long. But Dancers with their defense are beasts! A key unit in the final battle for destroying enemy units up to level 6. If you remove retaliation, you can even take out level 7 units. And considering that you can get about 80-100 of them for free, upgrade Battle Frenzy and Vengeance, you get a super monster. And if you take Gilraen, I don't even need to say anything.

And take Ilfina, for example, she's also an excellent hero! Unicorns are a key unit for the Elves, you can upgrade a tent to break through archers without losses, and she has an important spell to remove enchantments against Necromancers right away.

Well, Ossir is obviously a great hero too, I won't even go into detail. In the final battle, use Antimagic on the archers, block them with Ents, and say hello to all the mages.

My favorite heroes among the elves have always been Gilraen and Anwen:

She deals 2% damage for each level, which will always be applied to sworn enemies. This means that by level 20, she will deal an additional 40% damage to 3-4 enemies. No ability or perk from the skill tree gives such a damage bonus – 40%. And that's before a critical hit, which is already 140% damage. If luck strikes, that's 240% damage, and if there's elven luck, it's 265% damage. If you upgrade retribution on top of all this, you get 290% damage. In short, sworn enemies are in trouble. I think she has an excellent specialization! One of the best in the game. In a 1-on-1 game on a large map, you can always find and place levels 7, 6, or 5 in the list.

Something seems off about Direal. The ability pushes enemies back based on their Attack Value (ATV) by 2% for each level. So, Direal at level 21 will push enemies back by 14%. And the critical hit chance against creatures applies and gives a maximum of 225% of its damage. And 40% is the chance for the Avenger ability to trigger. I think it works like this.

Yeah, I see a bunch of passionate nature defenders have gathered here. I also like elves, but only for their Forest Leader perk. Thanks to this, you can significantly replenish the Necropolis army with zombies. But I prefer orcs because of their "Protect Us All" skill and high growth rate. And in general, they say that all Sylvan heroes are good, so I guess I have to agree with that. Since even Dyraell turns out to be a formidable force. It's just unclear why they don't even make it to the finals in any tournament (at least, the ones I've heard of).
