I would gladly play a sea map. At least there would be a way to retreat, and you could sail far away, escaping from enemies and capturing some castle. This is relevant for playing against humans, but not so much against the computer.

I once asked, and they said that you can't play with water by definition. I don't know...

We decided to play a fun game with some unconventional heroes. Tan took the Heretic, and I took the Battle Mage.
I got a tiny central resource point, but there are wolf and bear spawns nearby. There's almost no money, so I'm struggling in zone 26, trying to get back to my resource point, but the path to it is blocked by 100-249 upgraded Orcs guarding Pandora. I couldn't place bears on the first day; I only have 1-5 units in the castle (there are Ogres though :). On the second day, I place bears, barely making it within my budget. And that's it... 500 per day, I can't buy anything. Gird is leveling up slowly because there's no land. I bought a Medusa Hut (level 3) and a Naga Bank (level 2), which helps a bit, but I can't buy anything other than bears, wolves, and goblins. And then I attack a mage's outpost with 4 bears and a few goblins (they were standing on the road, blocking the way, you see :). There were about 50 of them, with upgraded units. I lost 4 bears, retreated, and had 0 money and 0 units. And then, plague. :D All my unbought units from the first week are gone, I can't even make a decent stack anymore. In general, things improved a bit later, and I finally got a companion, but then I unexpectedly got a Devil Week +5. :)
In general, it's my fault because I went further into the zone where the opponent could be... and he was there. A Fireball Implosion spell for 1650 damage destroyed 10 bears, I struggled and bought off with Ogres. Then I tried to take a max-level Utopia from my own territory, but I predictably lost.
Thanks for the game!
P.S. I had a Scroll of Fly from the second week, but I couldn't find a second castle. I had a Resurrection and a Teleportation spell, but there was no land.

We had a great time playing Starcraft with Vissi.
Maybe I should post a report about one of our games with Vaishan against the AI... We play C&C3, but it's also a lot of fun :)

In general, Vaishan and I also fought against the AI in the game Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath. Our skill level has certainly increased after many battles, but one battle is particularly memorable, in which we literally snatched victory from two computer players at a time when all hope seemed lost and we were ready to give up :) All hyperlinks lead to screenshots illustrating the described action. I play as the red player, Vaishan as the green player, but he is easy to recognize, all his troops are strange aliens :) Turquoise and purple are the bots. So:
The game started as usual, we were on one side of the map and built our bases at a normal pace, and our enemies did the same. I chose to play as the GDI faction, while Vaishan controlled one of the sub-factions of the alien race, the Scrin. Soon after I built a military factory, the opponent made itself known, and the first attacks began, consisting of both infantry and early-game military units. Both computer players, for some reason, chose me as their target, and my economic development was not going very well, so I was barely holding on. Vaishan, meanwhile, was building his base at his leisure, but at my request, he soon sent reinforcements. Later, I realized that my current income was not enough, and the Tiberium field near my base, which provides those precious credits, was running out. Because of this, I tried to expand my territory. However, this attempt failed. One of the opponents launched a daring raid and attacked my base from the left flank. I certainly didn't expect such a maneuver, as all previous attacks had come exclusively from the right flank. As a result, this maneuver allowed the enemies to completely destroy my economy, and although the attack was repelled (with Vaishan's help), I was no longer thinking about rebuilding my base and was even about to suggest replaying the game. Realizing the hopelessness of my situation, I decided to gather the main building of my base into an MCV and move it under the protection of my ally, who was doing relatively well. As a result, I moved it to Vaishan's second economic base, where I began to rebuild. I had only one APC left. Meanwhile, the pressure on Vaishan increased noticeably, and while I only had to defend my new base, he had to constantly switch between the primary and secondary bases, as I could not defend the secondary base alone. With great difficulty, I gathered a small mobile squad consisting of a couple of APCs, two "Bulldogs" (a maneuverable but not armored vehicle, mainly designed to protect against air attacks), several tanks, and one captured "Avatar" robot, intercepted from the enemy [1] [2]. The APCs, after many repelled attacks, gained experience and desperation and fought extremely effectively (after a certain number of defeated enemies, troops in the game can become elite and will deal more damage and regenerate over time). With this squad, I launched a small raid and successfully attacked the enemy's economy. Meanwhile, in the absence of pressure from our side and in conditions of good economic development, the AI acquired a superweapon that can destroy a good third of a large base in one attack, let alone our miserable outpost on the second point. So, the enemy's orbital ion cannon targeted our second base and almost completely destroyed it, and only by some miracle did my power plant, the last building, survive. Its loss would have been equivalent to my defeat. Then came a nuclear strike on Vaishan's main base, which destroyed most of the defensive structures and a number of other important buildings. This forced him to move his main building to our second position as well, and he had to say goodbye to the main one. However, he had a chance to recover, but I didn't. Therefore, I went on the attack with a handful of my desperate madmen, not hoping for much, but as it turned out, there was a chance! I penetrated the base of one of the opponents from the flank and began to selectively destroy the enemy's buildings, which did not offer too much resistance, but my small number of troops was enough. After destroying several power plants and losing about a third to half of my squad, I cut off the power to the enemy, and the defensive structures no longer posed a threat to me, so I began to attack other important buildings. Vaishan managed to recover after two superweapon strikes and built an "epic" unit - a huge insect-like monster (robot?), capable of single-handedly defeating a small army. After my sabotage and Vaishan's devastating strike with a super-unit (which, by the way, the enemy almost destroyed), it was already useless for the computer AI to resist.
Bow down and hear our cry,
Our earthly rulers falter,
Our people drift and die,
The walls of gold entomb us,
The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
Take away our pride.

but in the 4th game, couldn't you play Factions?
Vega wasn't there, you weren't there, Lizard refused.

Is it possible, and with whom?

I'm talking about Friday, when everyone was available.
I even specifically took Demons and Calh.

It's easier to break through Gnomes and Goblins/Gnolls. Should we go back? Or do you think the opponent won't be able to break through the defenses if they want to come to you?
