Who is better, more challenging, easier, or more interesting to play as? Please vote.
In my opinion, it's the light faction. I don't know why, but their mages are stronger, IMHO. Also, the Champion is better than the Black Knight, IMHO.

I chose Haven. But only because Gavin Magnus and Krag Hack are there ;) And I like blessing spells more than combat spells. Although Dungeon is more powerful. Shrapnel, Armageddon, Dragon's Breath... It's fun to complete quests in the Abyss :)

Yes, but for example, I was able to clear the entire Pit when playing as Haven, but when playing as Dungeon, I couldn't clear the entire Celeste. I don't know how to deal with a spell like dispel magic, which Archmages cast, and after which my heroes lose regeneration, which would be very helpful, otherwise they die quickly from Archangels.
+ when playing as Haven, you can create elementals:rolleyes: they help a lot in clearing the Pit =)) all the Sorceresses get distracted, you kill them, and then, to create elementals in another area, you kill the previous ones, and that's it!=)) it helped a lot...
But playing as Dungeon is really more fun...:cool:

I didn't create Elementals. It's not my style. I got from one Sorceress to another by jumping:eek: But at least they didn't hit me with spells:)

Let's try Berserk, and what else can we try? P.S. And should Berserk be used against Archmages or Archangels?

And archmages will die from them. It will be quite an amusing sight. You stand around a corner, and a battle rages nearby :)

That's how my brother played it.

I would use shrapnel. Trying to get as close to them as possible. Or, quietly and stealthily, with invisibility.

Nah, invisibility is not a good option; it's too risky to fall back into the barricade. =))
So, either Berserk, or... uh... what else is there? Offensive magic?

Actually, I'm just playing through the game again (for the hundredth time) and trying to decide which faction to choose, so I've put the game aside for now until I find something interesting on one side or the other.

Darkness, because it is stronger.
It has Armageddon, dragon's breath, and poisonous cloud.
And also because I got exhausted in the Abyss with death queens, or more accurately, with their dragon's breath:( . Very strong; I cleared 3 parts of the Abyss, but for the 4th one where the Castle is, I ran out of patience. I got tired of flying to Nighon to restore own magic and health. But as for quests, I prefer Light. Because compare the quest of the High Druid and the Warlock. One needs to bring a skull from the tunnels to Nighon and take it to the dwarf catacombs, while others need to reach Nighon, reach Eofol, and reach the dragon cave. The advantage is immediately obvious, but Light has a problem with combat spells. They deal little damage, and look at Divine Intervention — you are restored, but you age BY 10 YEARS:eek: , while in darkness the Soul Drinker just licks his lips :) . By the way, what kind of spell is Victim Kill.:confused:
P.s It's fun to deal with liches using the Destroy Undead spell
