Hey, summer lovers, are you enjoying yourselves right now? lol

Yeah. It's hot during the day, around 40 degrees... But at night it drops to 20 degrees :D And still, it's a great time of year, although it's hot, of course :)

Added 3 minutes later

It's great here right now! It dropped from +60 to +45 during the day, I'm enjoying it :)

+60? I think the highest recorded temperature on Earth was +54^o C.

WE ARE ALL DEAD AND NOW WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO IN HELL, LOL.

31 in the shade. Not bad at all. The breeze isn't hellish, it's quite refreshing :)

I sealed all the windows and vents because even the draft from outside is warmer than the air in the stuffy wooden walls of my little house.

it's gotten colder here, only +31 :) although the guy said it would be +29, liar.

+27 and a fresh breeze – I’m incredibly happy.

yes, the heat is returning. We need to make a sacrifice to the Sun God.

Tieru, he is no longer needed.

And this, after everything that happened between us! :smile05:

You are addicted to Gaga and pose a social threat.

You are such jerks! I hate you!

Due to the heat, a rail broke on the Filevskaya line. Around 2:30 PM, traffic was completely paralyzed between the "Kievskaya" and "Bagrationovskaya" stations. Passengers were offered to use the neighboring Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line or travel by ground transport. "Train operators brought the trains to the stations, where all passengers were disembarked," the Moscow City Police Department reported. The cause of the breakdown is the abnormal heat. After all, the Filevskaya line runs almost entirely in the open air, exposed to the scorching sun. "Due to the heat, the contact rail expanded, which led to the breakdown," Svetlana Tsareva, head of the press service of the Moscow Metro, explained to Komsomolskaya Pravda. "From 3:06 PM, a shuttle train ran on one of the tracks between the 'Kuntsevskaya' and 'Kievskaya' stations, and a repair crew worked on the other. From 4:15 PM, trains on the Filevskaya line ran from 'Kuntsevskaya' to 'Bagrationovskaya' and from 'Kievskaya' to 'Alexandrovsky Sad'." A large number of people gathered on the platforms, but there was no panic. Traffic is now gradually returning to normal. "At 5:40 PM, after the malfunction was eliminated, power was supplied to the contact rail, and the restoration of train traffic according to the normal schedule began," the press service of the Moscow Metro reported. Meanwhile, the unprecedented heat continues. At 4:00 PM, the base station at the All-Russia Exhibition Center recorded another maximum – plus 35! Scientists recorded the same readings at a station near Moscow State University. This is already the fifth record broken since the beginning of summer. But this is not the limit. At the meteorological station near the Bykovo airport, it is 38 degrees in the shade! There is no wind, and meteorologists do not rule out that the temperature will rise further.

And in our building, during the heat, the management decided to hold a contest: whoever climbs to the fourteenth floor without dying gets a month off from paying for the broken elevator.
