The 19th offline tournament "Knight's Trial"
(on the TE patch)

TOURNAMENT RULES

1. To participate in the first offline tournament on the TE patch for Heroes 1, "Knight's Trial," you must register on our website www.heroesworld.ru and also submit an application in this thread. It is NOT REQUIRED but recommended.

2. The tournament will be held on the Russian version of Heroes 1, version 1.1, from Буки, with the TE_1.03 patch installed.
Saves from the original game version will not be considered; the game must only run on the patch!
All information regarding installing the patch can be found here.
You can ask any questions about the patch in this thread.

3. The goal of the game is to level up the starting hero, Maximus, as much as possible within three gaming days (this hero already has bonuses at the start in the form of artifacts: boots and a compass).

Note – experience (exp) will be counted, so there is no secondary victory criterion in this tournament.

The winner of this tournament receives a prize in the form of a cup with the TE logo (in the profile and under the avatar):smile49:

This tournament is ranked and published on the website http://www.reytinghmm1.ho.ua/, so you need to earn your rating now because at the end of the year, the best player on our site according to the ranking will receive a separate prize in the form of a cup for the absolute winner, as well as an honorary certificate sent by mail. The rating will be calculated for 2010.

4. ATTENTION: the list of prohibitions applicable to the original version of the game does not exist, except for one logical and cheating point:

26.3.1. It is strictly FORBIDDEN to use cheat codes, prohibited bugs, or hack saves during the final playthrough. However, it is allowed to use the standard cheat code for initial save exploration, i.e., in the draft version, and also apply all programs listed in section 24. Programs and utilities.
Note – players who violate this rule may face a lifetime ban or a special mark in their profile.

Everything else, up to discussing the tournament in the thread, is allowed! ;)

5. Send the save to the email address VDV_forever@bk.ru.

The submitted save must contain the tournament number (19), the participant's number in the application table, the abbreviation of the tournament (KT - Knight's Trial), and the player's nickname.

Example:

19_1_КТ_VDV_forever.GM1

Note – For guests of our site, it is enough to send your save with the indication of the Nick and the resource from which he performs.

HP_Sub-Zero.GM1

6. The result of a player who used cheats during the playthrough will be annulled, and the player will receive a lifetime ban!

7. The tournament starts on May 22, 2010, and lasts until June 2, 2010 (inclusive!), Moscow time. The final results of the tournament will be announced on June 5, 2010.

8. After you send your save, you will see in the application table that the save has been received - by the bold nickname.

Sequence of actions:

1. Install patch 1.03 TE.

2. Download the save.

3. The downloaded save must be placed in the GAMES folder of your installed Heroes 1 on your computer.

4. Load it and start playing at any time that is convenient for you, while remembering to make daily saves.

5. After reaching the last action (after which victory occurs), you need to save again.

6. A complete description of the tournament map is encouraged (not required). If there are any, the best ones will be published in the thread: "Feats of our best heroes," and also posted on the reference website http://handbookhmm1.narod.ru/!

7. Send this save to the specified address (in the rules of this tournament).

8. Wait for the results to be announced.

I played a bit. I'm writing because of a funny thing that happened during an auto-battle :) The hero with +2 luck caught it six times in a row! I was immediately surprised... And when you need it, it's hard to catch :)

Yes. And the addition of centaurs after the druids too! ;)

I sent the save file. The tournament was enjoyable :smile20:. It's a pity that this tournament was held during another one and lasted only 10 days :smile42:. I only managed to play it once :(. We're looking forward to the next one!!!

I knew it, something wasn't right here :) Never mind. I have 27k experience. I didn't capture any enemy castles, I just collected chests along the way and fought battles.
