You've been playing for a very, very long time, and quite competently. Look for more mature sandboxes. I don't butt into my own tournament, even though half of the local noobs regularly wipe the floor with me :)

I'm sorry, but no. I've decided not to let you into the tournament; I'll list the reasons in a bit more detail to avoid answering questions later.
1. You play quite strongly; that alone would be enough. I've already heard your counter-argument about the game of Imba and Oleg. Oleg withdrew, and Imba, based on my feelings from the reports, doesn't measure up to you. There were some slight doubts, but I decided to take him. Denis hasn't been playing on VK for very long, and his early games were quite weak. He's improved now, of course, growing, so what then? I think there are several people who can give him a run for his money. Three, by the way, threatened to crush everyone and win this tournament :)

We currently have 26 people; I will first remove Wolt if there is no confirmation, since he didn't even leave an ICQ number and disappeared. Neyra almost certainly hasn't fixed her issue yet. Once again, I greet all participants, fans, and viewers. The show begins. Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen. The is officially open. The bracket is in the second post of the thread. It looks a bit lackluster for now, but once I overcome my laziness and finish other tasks, I'll create beautiful tables here, where I'll also record the current results. From each group, the top 3 players with the most points will advance to the playoffs. The 16th player will be the best of the remaining players. I will choose them, trying to take all factors into account. Tiebreaker matches are possible if there is no clarity. I must admit, I liked the bracket. In each group, there are 4 reliable players, and the competition will probably be between them, although we'll see. Those who haven't confirmed have exactly one week. After that, I will start excluding players, starting with Wolt and then in a random order, and replace them with new arrivals. As previous tournaments have shown, there will be some. So don't be confused by the "half-empty" cells; time will even out the groups, I assure you. I will accept players for the tournament for another 2 weeks, i.e., until June 1st (or until these half-empty cells are filled). And also, I think the potential of each group is approximately the same; there are both favorites and slightly weaker players. After all, I put them in different groups. I expect a competition for both first place and for advancing from the group. We've discussed the bracket; now you can play. Here are a few suggestions for you: 1. Try not to delay and play on time, i.e., on average, 1 game per week, and if you can, play more. There will be no time for catch-up: we have 6 weeks, we need to play 5 games, and one week is just in case (there may be tiebreaker matches for advancing to the playoffs). Therefore: immediately contact all your opponents in the group and try to agree and play. Don't be offended when you are told that they can't play yet, and try to find another opponent. I believe that those who want to play will play. Experience from previous tournaments suggests that it is much more beneficial to play earlier than to postpone it. 2. Don't be lazy and reread the rules. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any doubts. You can receive a penalty for even a 100% winning game due to a random violation of the rules. 3. Respect your opponent. You may encounter both a strong and a not-so-strong rookie. Don't rush to accuse the first of taking too long or cheating if something seems suspicious to you. Try to figure it out calmly, and in 99% of cases, your suspicions will be explained very simply. Don't rush to reproach the second, weak rookie for not knowing the rules or some things that seem elementary to you, but try to explain it to him. Imagine, once I was accused of cheating.
