Dear lobbyists for the BT version, it's not worth using any pretext to advertise your add-on. After all, it might even create the impression that there are still existing motives for asm'ing. If a player has opened a map, it means they have realized their "dark" intentions. How can BT help them with this? Heroes is a non-commercial game. For true fans of the game, the presence of various protections is absolutely unnecessary. And the opposition... is just one of the methods of unfair advertising.
Or maybe it's all just a conspiracy theory :) I just don't believe that a loser was playing with an open MIKOGO and at the same time CHEATING and also installing a trainer :D Maybe the ASM, having gained control over the computer, decided to play a trick on the Loser: rolleyes: :smile08: Like - you play, and I'll install the trainer, and yes, it's possible - you play on one version, and I'll install another one and also a trainer, and that's how the highly respected Loser fell for this trick: smile22: :smile36: Well, isn't that a story for a DETECTIVE :D :smile15: :smile29: :smile45:
version WT 0.5 will automatically assess the probability that a player is cheating. If the probability is greater than 80%, a low-level hard drive format will be performed.

:D and if the computer makes a mistake ;) :smile23: what should the poor player do then, hunt down the creator to make him pay for the lost data.... :smile31: :smile24:

MIKOGO was launched in broadcast mode on this computer for the first time he simply might not have gotten used to such a situation – not everyone is the same, and not everyone broadcasts every game in MIKOGO
and in general – if anyone remembers, if it's possible to analyze games with the loser: does anyone remember if there were terrible time lags in the first moves – maybe this will clarify things for those who, after the previous investigation (where the situation is conceptually different), have doubts

this is too straightforward – let the neutrals torment at the right moment and gnaw at the main stacks, especially at the beginning of the game!)))))

I’ve had many games where opponents “fell asleep” on the first turn, so I had time to go and have a cup of coffee :), I never take that long, unless I play a couple of battles with GURNISON, if I come across zombies – that’s my favorite!
I've had many games where opponents would "fall asleep" on the first turn, giving me enough time to go grab a cup of coffee. :)
By the way, it's strange that it happens specifically on the 1st turn: it's not yet late, the player isn't tired, etc. But after that, there should be less of this happening.... And in general, the problem can be solved, in my opinion, with a WT-lite version (similar to TE-lite). Maybe Vik will take on adapting it in his spare time, and the entire honest Heroes community will give him another round of applause for it! :)

Ugh! So I lost a few games to "Loser." So he takes a long time on his first turns. Personally, I don't care. I can play with him again. The game is, after all, non-commercial. What bothers me more is the desire of some forum users to immediately lynch the poor "Loser." Why are you so eager for blood? You identified a cheater - good for you! Hang a big medal around your neck. But remember: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"? And no one dared, because they were all sinners.

Just because it doesn't bother you doesn't mean it's okay. First and foremost, there should be respect for the opponent, and cheating is the height of blatant cynicism.

And cheating is also a manifestation of the deepest inferiority complex. How low must your self-esteem be to admit, even before the game starts, that you won't be able to win fairly.

The most effective way to combat cheating is to set the turn time to 2 minutes; then, the cheater won't have enough time to analyze the situation – that's what I call playing fast; whoever has the quicker wit will win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Added 1 minute ago And it was shocking to me when I started playing online, the turn time was 6 minutes :) but then, due to the rules, I silently accepted it, but if an opponent suggests a 2-minute turn, I will never refuse.

Oh, what eloquence. What commas... Am I saying whether it's right or wrong? I'm talking about mercy towards the fallen, as Alexander Sergeyevich once did. Remember, haven't you ever wanted to peek at the map a little? Just a little? Just a desire? Which, of course, you overcame. Maybe you're proud of yourself? Of your moral fortitude? Something tells me that many, if not all, wanted to. From a Christian moral point of view, desire is already a sin. I'm not advocating for cheating. I'm against bullying anyone. Because the motive behind such bullying is well-known: "You're not that good, so we're not that bad either." If a loser is a map hacker, let those who are supposed to take measures against him do so. Why dig into dirty laundry and remember who did what and when?

At the 2-minute mark, it's enough to pause in the battle to get unlimited time to study the map.
And with chess clocks, you can pause when accepting a move.
Here, you need to approach it from a different angle – limit the possibilities for viewing.
