TOURNAMENT RULES

1. To participate in the seventeenth offline Heroes 1 tournament "Great Combinator", you must register on our website www.heroesworld.ru and submit an application in this thread.

2. The tournament will be held on the Russian version of Heroes 1 from Buky. The save file will be generated on the Russian version 1.1.

3. The goal of the game is to obtain 10 "symbol of misfortune" artifacts and 40 griffins in the shortest possible time. The submitted save file must already contain 10 "symbol of misfortune" artifacts and 40 griffins.
Note - the artifacts and griffins may belong to several heroes controlled by the player.

The winner of this tournament will receive a prize in the form of a medal (in the profile and under the avatar).:smile49:
This tournament is ranked and published on the website http://www.reytinghmm1.ho.ua/, so it is necessary to earn your rating now, since at the end of the year the best player on our site according to the ranking will receive a separate prize in the form of an absolute champion's cup, as well as an honorary certificate sent by mail. The rating will be calculated for 2010.

4. The result will be evaluated primarily based on the smallest number of days. In case of a tie in days, the qualifying criterion is the sum of primary skills (attack, defense, magic, knowledge) INCLUDING WORN ARTIFACTS; if there is still no clear favorite, then it will be determined by the amount of mercury.

6. Send the save file to the email address VDV_forever@bk.ru

The submitted save file must contain the tournament number (17), the participant's number in the application table, the abbreviation of the tournament (VK - Great Combinator), and the player's nickname.

Example:

17_1_VK_VDV_forever.GM1

7. The result of a player who played with violations of the rules will be annulled, and the player will be punished.
The result of a player who used cheats during the game will be annulled, and the player will receive a lifetime ban!

8. Discussion of the tournament on the Internet during its conduct is PROHIBITED!!!
(Players who violate this rule automatically lose the opportunity to play in the tournament; their results will not be counted and will be canceled).

9. The tournament starts on March 27, 2010, and lasts until April 27, 2010 (inclusive!), Moscow time. The final results of the tournament will be announced on March 30, 2010.

10. After receiving your save file, you will see in the application table that:

save received - by a bold nickname.
save accepted - by a blue bold nickname.
save rejected - by a red bold nickname.

Sequence of actions:

1. Download the save file.

2. Place the downloaded save file in the GAMES folder of your installed Heroes 1 game.

3. Load it and start playing at any time that is convenient for you, while remembering to make daily saves.

4. After completing all the steps (after which victory occurs), save again.

5. A complete description of the tournament map is encouraged (optional). If there are any, the best ones will be published in the thread "Feats of our Best Heroes", and also placed on the reference website http://handbookhmm1.narod.ru/!

6. Send this save file to the specified address (in the rules of this tournament).

7. Wait for the results to be announced.

Yesterday, I started playing it slowly. The map is large but enjoyable. I stopped to clarify the rules. My path leads through one of the locations that are forbidden to visit. So, what's the decision? It seems like no one was against visiting demon caves and graveyards, as long as there isn't any art there. Please clarify!

Yes, I completely forgot to mention this in the rules, I'm correcting it:

Forbidden:

4.5. Visiting graveyards, skeletons, sunken ships, and demon caves if an artifact spawns there; in all other cases, visiting these objects is allowed!
