I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Sticky for organizing this tournament. Moscow hasn't hosted a championship since 2005. It was interesting to see both the veterans from the Chaos tournaments and the new generation of online players. I was especially pleased to see people who weren't afraid to travel from afar: Palach (Orel) and Redwhite (Kaliningrad), as well as the head judge, Vik (St. Petersburg). Of course, there were some hiccups, such as license issues, latecomers, and games that ran too long – but they were all manageable, and besides, it's always easier to criticize than to do. Regarding the matches, I personally enjoyed the very first one, where the newcomer, Palach, faced off against Stinger. Palach was given a +5 weapon for all stats and all the fire spells in the Pandora box. He didn't quite manage the final battle perfectly, meaning he didn't cast Berserk at the right time, etc. But even with that, Stinger was left with only 1.5 barely alive Bears. Overall, the debutant gave the master a good run for his money, and the intrigue lasted until the very end. Finally, I'll attach a photo of the game I played with Preds on Friday and a save file with Pit. The save file isn't very interesting because the generator gave me too much of an advantage.

Yekaterinburg will give an answer next week. For now, they have two potential attendees: Mee and asm. The only problem is that it's quite expensive for them to come to Kyiv :(
It would be nice to find a way to help... I would especially like to thank asm for the version of the game that allows simultaneous turns. If we play the final (or at least some matches) on that version, we can all save a lot of time and focus on something other than the game itself ;)

We're pushing Vitalic as much as we can... As soon as someone declines, Vitalic, who is in 5th place, immediately gets a spot in the finals. Why not give the 4th place from Michurinsk – 4. Mizrael or 5th place – 5. Scorp a chance?
IMHO, it would be more logical to give the spot to the 4th place rather than the 5th, and if Mizrael declines, then we can decide between Vitalic and Scorp.
By the way, Mizrael scored the same number of points in Michurinsk as Stinger, and in the Moscow selection, Vitalic is ranked lower than Stinger. Conclusion: Mizrael is a priority in all respects.

If someone from the top three in Moscow declines, it would be fairer to let Stinger decide from which location he reserved his spot. A tournament should HAVE ORGANIZATION. Clarity, not chaos.

Running around a few days before the tournament starts, trying to find someone to replace a prize winner who has declined – that will be a mess.
And right now, I think Stinger won't want a crane in Moscow when he has a sparrow in Michurinsk :)
