Secondly, you saw how difficult it was to coordinate the schedule. If you hadn't waited, someone else would have. And what else could be done if one game took so long, and there was neither the possibility nor the tournament reason to award it (both players are contenders not only for the top 3, but also for a solo victory).

The same reason applies to the different number of games – all the fast-playing players have already played each other, and it turned out that Eddie and Preds still have to play a 3rd round against each other. Therefore, it was decided to change the order of the matches per round, in particular, to count your game with Sago as the 4th round instead of the 3rd.

A similar situation occurred at the qualifying tournament in St. Petersburg – Mike had two games that were prolonged and saved. It was necessary to finish them after the tournament, and it took more than a month before the results were available. Your situation is simpler – you don't need to play the 4th round; you just need to find one day to play the postponed game.

Regarding our game with Eddie – it's possible to finish the game at another club, for example, on Frunze Street, even during the week (we can agree on a time; I'm on vacation, so there shouldn't be any major problems). However, it would be good to have a third person present, at least at the beginning of the game, to transfer the save file, to avoid any misunderstandings (ideally, also at the end, in case we postpone it again:D).

On Sunday morning, we met Palach early and went to the club. While waiting, we had a great game of CS :D .
When most of the people had gathered, the draw began, where I was tasked with writing nicknames and shuffling :) well, as they say, I ended up with Keba myself, whom I've been unlucky with all the time :( as this time too, 4 out of 6 guards on secondaries were shooters, the remaining 2 were gr. Harpies and gr. Vaskis :(
In the end, it was a loss, although even without it, there were no chances.

War is war, but lunch is on schedule :) With Stiki we headed to a cheburek place, and there we also decided that we'd play on Jebus Cross — me as Inferno, him as Necro. After restarts we decided on 2 days in total. I took them immediately since the GO fairy on the second deal gave him Gosh with 3 stacks and a Miner with 2 stacks, and a box of 70 zombies, while I got a miserable external dwelling of Efreets and a couple of conservatories with a mini Dragon Utopia with Boots of Resist and Speed Boots, and he attacked the wrong GO.
Since it was already Monday, only Stinger was free, who was undefeated. We were both ready to start, but the judge and organizer decided we wouldn't play :mad: In the end, I sat for several hours without an opponent, watching others play. Then Marcon appeared, who had 1 out of 2, and we rolled the SM — for me again a Dungeon, and for him a Castle.
1st generation: 3 stacks and an external dwelling of dragons, but slow roads — he wanted a restart. 2nd: 3 stacks and 2 native dwellings, but a hero of level 5 :( On the third, at the start of my turn, I realize we started Jebus Cross :D Then we used all the restarts and I got déjà vu :confused: again an external dwelling of Medusas and shooter guards everywhere possible. At the same time, Stinger, as Miner on the same SM, gets an external dwelling of Medusas and a hell of a respawn :D
We played until 115, and I was offered a mutual re — I agreed. Right after revealing, it showed Marcon had even worse.
We started the next generation. It dealt average: 3 secondaries, but on one block there were shooters in the form of gr. Lizardmen behind artifacts and Gremlins behind something. Went the other road — there was a fork to Teleport and upward, and guards of gr. Pegasi and Golems. After breaking through the Golems, on the other side stood Halberdiers :eek: I was in shock — the only generation where there were no shooters on the secondary. In the end, on 112 a Barbarian secondary, and at my own respawn a Pandora's Box for 5k gold, then a Prospector and Pegasi — I don't remember who exactly, but I broke through and took the Ramp secondary.
On the first, I set up Bears in the Citadel. That's the save, and we headed home.

The next day, it was unknown when Marcon would show up, and so I wouldn't sit idle, we started with Vitalik for the 4th round, who was already playing with Eddie. We decided on an SM — me again as Miner, him as Kyrre. We played in a rather non-tournament atmosphere; I take a restart with 2 external dwellings of Minotaurs to make it more interesting. Marcon arrives and starts with PreDS, and we load in parallel. In the end, playing on 2 computers turned out very interesting :D To avoid confusion, I'll first tell how the game with Marcon ended :)

On the second day, I took a Dwarf Cottage, max — 2 of 8 Dragon Fly Hives, and headed to the 2nd Barbarian secondary. There was a block up to 99 Evil Eyes behind a Pandora's Box that gave 35 gr. Orcs. There I also found a Cloak of Undead, Boots of a Conservatory, and a Dragon Fly Hive for 8 Wyverns. The Miner runs on boots with Logis and Pathfinding — the treasure zone is snow and swamp, but I don't care. Loch checks the Conservatory, Trong looks at Gunnar — max. Well, apparently a job for the Miner — he takes it without problems, breaks it, replenishes mana. On the 3rd day, we go into the treasure zone, clear it. Useful stuff: we level up Earth, a Conservatory level 3 and 20 Pits, and a path to the enemy's secondary which is roaming in another treasure zone. I take Inferno, and after 2 days the capital, then I break through 2 GOs — Efreets and Dragons — and go to the Ramp secondary where Loch appeared, and then Valka, who has been without castles for a couple of days. I stretch until the start of the week. While Valka eats boxes and a Dragon Fly Hive, I bring the Shield +3 Attack/Defense from the other side, and bring all the Bears — total 11 from 2 castles gathered — and I fall short by a couple of tiles, but Valka attacks herself with Tactics, all forward by speed. I go first, cast Mass Slow, remove 3/4 of the Wyverns and Swordsmen, and the only Angel — after that, no chance.

Now about the game with Vitalik: we got a native secondary, but no money, and only 1 external dwelling — Troglodytes. I bet on them, built 1-4 in the Citadel + mushrooms in the secondary 1-3 + mushrooms, and took the external dwelling. On the second day, I ventured into my treasure zone. We exchanged Autos. I attacked a group of Giants — and in SOD that's 10-19 — and got a beating from them :mad: Three Dragon Fly Hives, but the guards were terrible: up to 49 gr. Vampires for the passage. There's also another Dragon Fly Hive with up to 99 Scarecrows, a 2nd with up to 19 Bears, a 3rd with up to 99 gr. Vaskis. Out of the entire treasure zone, I only broke through 12 Hydras for a Dragon Utopia and a Spirit of Despair :) I gave away all 30+ unit Harpies and a few Evil Eyes — the Dragon Utopia gives 1-2. I give the army to Loch, he runs upward to take the Dwarf Cottage and a Crypt, while the Miner goes for the Book.
At the start of the 3rd day, I buy at 95% and enter a Dragon Utopia with an army of 41 Evil Eyes, 241 gr. Troglodytes, 4 Cats, 6 Minotaurs, some Harpies and Medusas. Mass Shield is cast, but I forgot to take Bless :( In the end, I came out with 140 Troglodytes. They gave +5 +3 and a Speed Cloak +2. Well, Vitalik also entered a Dragon Utopia, as he said later, because I took one and he wanted to :D He said it was a minimum — he takes it with 12 Unicorns and some fodder. He suggested we watch. The whole hall gathered. He had a small amount of fodder in the form of 100+ Centaurs, 35 Dwarves, 10+ Dendroids, Pegasi :D After that, having nothing else to do — I don't know where else to find a treasure zone — I went for the enemy's secondary which he hadn't taken. But on day 141, he took it and attacked with a buy at max — there was some kind of a rush, but I didn't really care; we were playing, one might say, for fun :)

Then I said goodbye to everyone, and this morning I already had a plane home.

Then the Troglodytes get disheartened twice in a row and as a result, less than a hundred remain, the Pandora's Box has 20 gr. Medusas, but no external dwellings are visible, no money either, so a restart.
Second draw - 2 stacks, Lorelei as the second hero, Trogs less than a hundred, Harpies not built, but I immediately reveal an external dwelling of Medusas, 2 Dwarf Cottages, a Griffin Conservatory, Shakhti on the pillar immediately takes Defense. Shakti beats the ponies, Solmyr takes the Dragon Fly Hive (the first in the game, only found 1 on the respawn and gave up on it), scouting +3 to everything behind gr. Nagas a bit to the side, Shakti takes the Cap from the Giants, finally experts Air, with Fly beats the Nagas, takes the Necklace, casts Dimension Door to the Tree and the Gauntlets behind Swords. The next day the Wings are taken with a Pandora's Box for 10K experience - both go to Solmyr, who also scouts a Lookout Tower and from it, it's visible that the center is not bad at all. Shakti sits in the castle to replenish mana, having eaten an empty Pandora's Box beforehand. Around there are 2 Dragon Utopias, 3 Dragon Fly Hives in a heap, next to one of them +4 to everything. Everything is gathered by 132 and from the Stables we fly towards the blue player, who flashed on the periphery, took 2 Pandora's Boxes and ran back. On 133 Shakti sits in the second central castle, killing another 2 GO along the way and thanks to expert Scouting (which I took despite Vova's groans) sees on an adjacent Inferno respawn 2 Griffin Conservatories, the GO in a cell from the castle entrance. On 134 Hydras die, Moner, who was on split duty, takes 4 Angels from the Griffin Conservatory (now 5 of them!!), Shakti, upon viewing, determines the position of the Necro castle and with the help of Dimension Door catches Gosh there without an army, which didn't manage to return from taking the Dragon Utopia. Although it wouldn't have helped either.

Unfortunately, it won't be that beautiful. Because we are limited by the Swiss format – if players have played in one of the rounds, they cannot play against each other in another round.

For example, based on the table above, it can be seen that with 6 players who haven't played against each other yet, there are only 4 possible pairings – the rest contradict this condition. Therefore, the attempt to assign pairs based on the principle of "with the one who likes to sleep in" only works in the first rounds. And now, the pairings will most likely be known even before the start of the games.

Bots will also be out of place here because there is an even number of players. The only guest from the capital has already played all 4 rounds.

Therefore, at the moment, it seems to me that the most correct option is this: Eddie finishes his games with Preds and with you, the postponed games. The time and place can be agreed upon via Sticky – so that in case of absence, it is possible to calmly set a timeout. A week and a half should be enough for this. And next weekend, the remaining 3 games of the 4th round will be played.

I didn't really like the idea of playing several qualifying tournaments at the same time from the beginning, precisely because if someone drops out of two tournaments, the organizers will have to make a decision about the final lineup at their discretion. In such a situation, it is difficult not to offend anyone.

Right now, there are 2 players among those vying for the top 3 in the Moscow qualifier who have already received a quota – Stinger and Preds. A similar story happened with Napalm, who qualified in St. Petersburg and Kingisepp.

However, these are no longer my problems, but the problems of the organizers of the final tournament.

As for the Moscow qualifier, I would like to see not diplomatic maneuvers, but a sporting competition. Therefore, I hope that the tournament will be played out in a competitive atmosphere.

The option of awarding Eddie the victory due to Wowa's absence is, of course, not suitable. If Wowa doesn't change his mind, then most likely a game with a "bot" will be scheduled, and the player who has a dispute with Eddie for a spot will play in that role.
