When you really need to speak English you speak it better, otherwise things in your head become unclear (when speaking non-native language) and you are trying to transform plain emptiness to words as I do now :) To raise your skill in languages this topic might be helpful, though.

To be honest I am little surprised when I look the theme "What are you listening now?" and see what almost everybody almost always write an english song! Do you really unserstand that is sung there??? For example I never cannot understand it untill see the text.. although then think how could I not understand it??? I do know almost all words!!!

Futhermore, you can not understand English songs 'cause of sleng. Or, the most popular songs are American, but English and American are different languages!
Now I visit American lessons and I begin to understand songs a little, but, I think, that their songs are not legible for Yankees.

I understand ABBA`s and especially Arabesque`s English songs very good. But they`re not English-speaking groops, ABBA are Sweden, and Arabesque are German. I understand Arabesque`s songs so good that I can learn them by heart without reading texts.
But I don`t understand Nightwish`s songs, thought they sing on English too.
I prefer Russiun singers and Russian songs.

I liked Italy in childhood, because I loved Rodari`s fairy-tales. But now I neutral to this country, thought I love now Rodari`s fairy-tales too.
All countries are good and interesting. But I think Russia is best. It`s ancient country with interesting history and traditions. And Russia is really beautiful country, I think.

Russia is a country of unrealized potential. It could be the richest, the greatest and the most powerful country in the world but unfortunately it doesn't. Anyway I can't say, that I hate it :)

What about favorite countries, I like small, silent and mainly European ones: Scotland, Ireland, New Zeland and some others. I just know a little about their culture and people that live there. They (countries) are really very beautiful and probably calm.
