2VDV_forever: I sent an article about morality and luck to your email. As a bonus, here's a save file where the hero starts with -3 morality and -3 luck. Have fun! I suggest you try playing this map. The task: get rid of the curse of the gods hanging over the cowardly Agar (i.e., achieve at least +2 morality and +1 luck in the shortest possible number of game days). You cannot lose the starting artifact.

June 19, 2009 A new section has been opened: DOWNLOAD FILES

This section contains all files that are related to Heroes of Might and Magic 1 in any way. It was also created for the convenience of people who don't like to spend hours studying materials, but simply enjoy the game. To do this, you just need to download all the necessary materials that are in this section and place them in the appropriate directory on your computer.;)

Files available for download: English demo version of the game (unfortunately, Buka has not commented on the free distribution of the Russian version online), offline reference guide version 3.1, a complete separate archive of maps (202 pieces!), all programs for Heroes 1, the long-awaited soundtrack, English manual, the Toy Store magazine, the article "And Again, Battle," the 7z archiver, and the htm2chm compiler.

All files on www.handbokhmm1.narod.ru are, as always, absolutely free! Download and enjoy the game!

Good day, dear fans of Heroes 1! On June 25, 2009, all images were replaced in section 9.2. Instead of the old "cropped" images of castle buildings, real images have been inserted, which the player sees when building a particular structure in the castle. Now, a new version of the LMOracle v_3.80f program is available for download, which can be downloaded separately in section 23. Programs, or together with all programs for Heroes 1, in the download files section. In addition, minor flaws have been fixed. Sincerely, VDV_forever

The section on Morality, Luck, Damage, and Defense is ready in HTML, but it will be released together with the completely reworked section on Tactics and Strategies Used in the Game, which is in its final stages. These two sections overlap.
I anticipate that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, these two sections will be available in early August. ;)

:smile03:It has happened!:smile03: On August 6, 2009, after a huge amount of work (and I'm not exaggerating) done over the past few months, the following new features, changes, and additions were made to the website.

1) A new, unique, and comprehensive section has been added: 12. Morale, Luck, Damage, and Blocking, which will provide long-awaited answers to these questions that constantly arise on various resources!

2) The following sections have been completely rewritten:

- 22. Tactics and strategies used in the game;

- 25. General rules for joint offline tournaments + FAQ;

- 26. How to participate in an offline tournament and achieve high results in it?;

3) Animated monsters have taken their rightful place in section 7. Monsters, their characteristics, and features.

4) Several notes have been added.

5) The structure of the sections has been changed.

I would like to express special gratitude to AlexSPl and Sculptor for their assistance and help in preparing the new material.

It seems that something is missing from the reference guide: In the case of a continued attack (dragon's breath, phoenix's breath, etc.), the base damage for each target is calculated separately (i.e., the first stack may receive 50 dmg, and the second - only 25). February 10, 2010 - Website Update to Version 3.3!

Dear Heroes 1 fans!
We present to you the new version 3.3 of the reference website!



There are so many changes and new features in the new version of the reference website that I didn't dare to put them all in the news (25 pages in A4 format). It was decided to present all these changes and additions (all of them are taken into account in the new version of the reference) in the form of one doc file, which is also presented for your consideration.
This file also reflects the remaining questions that require study and plans for the future.
In addition to the changes and new features mentioned in the file, the additions that have been implemented since the release of version 3.2 of the reference website have also been taken into account.

I would like to express special gratitude to AlexSPl and Werky for their assistance and help in preparing the material that was included in the new version of the reference!

Both versions of the reference website, version 3.3, online and offline, have been updated at once! As always, the new version of the offline reference website is available for free download.

Great news! The new Handbook will satisfy the needs of any offline player and even more. It's just pleasant to browse through :) Oh, if there was a printed version or, say, a PDF... Five years ago, one could only dream of such material, which is what I was doing five years ago :)

Thank you, author! This is one of those things that every fan of the first part should keep in their HoMM folder!
