Well, having spent "some" time, I've come up with this rather nice little list. :)
Although it turned out clunky regardless. Anyway, I think everything is clear as it is ;)
(and naturally I did everything without thinking much, including potentially omitting some data; therefore, the table may be inaccurate)

I immediately thought about writing albums that would be, so to speak, "for all time" – but I realized it was difficult, so I'm writing subjectively, listing what I like at the moment...

Well, here, I finally got around to making a top-10 list… for all time. Although it is possible that my opinion will change in half a year... x)
The albums are not listed in any particular order; in my opinion, they are all equally brilliant :smile41:. I have listened to them repeatedly and recommend them to all fans of this kind of music ;)

It's hard to choose my favorite albums, and how could I? I decided that I need to choose those in which more than half of the songs are liked, even if the most beloved ones are on another album. The last group plays punk rock, but this album is very different from their previous work, and it's hard to call it punk. In my opinion, the album turned out to be quite emotional and depressing; some songs even make you want to cry. But most importantly, it's cohesive, and when you listen to it in its entirety, you get the feeling that it's one story (this rarely happens with me). I imagine it as a man wandering around the city at night and suffering because of love. Each song is a piece of this night, and the album covers the entire night until morning (the 11th song might be somewhere around 5-6 am, when dawn begins, and by the 13th, the sun has already risen).

I naturally decided to start the second part of the list with rock and could have even included four recent albums among my favorites, but that would be too much, so I'll choose one. Californication, Stadium Arcadium, and I'm With You are definitely great, but By The Way resonates most deeply with me; it is the most experimental and unusual album in the band's discography. It has a softer sound (except for a few songs), which may not appeal to everyone, so it's best to listen to other albums first. probably

I could have included the last band in the first list, as their music is heavy, but I forgot about them, so let them be here now. Actually, I could have written more albums (like some by The Used, Blue October, The Killers or Yellowcard), if I were to base it on the number of songs I liked from New Politics and Empyr's second album, but most of them are already getting old for me, while these ones aren't yet, plus I don't feel like it and need to respect the limit.

I want to write about another album, although it's not my favorite, but rather it becomes very cool for a certain mood, and it's cool in itself. And not just this one, you can also include the next two albums (from '98 and '99), as they are similar to the first. Then the band's sound changed, and the style changed slightly, but I also liked the new work. However, I'm still writing about the first one, because it's special. (and in some places it reminds me of the psychedelic Warpaint)
