Have you seen the movie CUBE 3 Zero? Among my friends, I go by that hero's name. But generally, I'd like to be called a demon or Mahpell (those who know will understand) as my nickname.

At first, I was just a newbie, hanging out in chat rooms. I decided to register in one of them, and I was trying to come up with a nickname. Nothing came to mind. Then I decided to simply write that I love RPG games, so that people would immediately know what topics I want to discuss. That's how I got the nickname RPGFan. After a while, I got tired of people asking me if I was a fan of the RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade) and I changed my nickname to the current one. And now it's been with me for about 6 years.

:) My nickname, I don't even know how it came about. A long time ago, when I was trying to get a mailbox on Yandex, I was trying out all sorts of combinations, and I remembered characters from Star Wars, but I don't like being similar to anyone, so I generated it... it turned out to be something. Part of the name, part of the surname, and part of something else... But anyway, friends call me a lawyer for some reason, maybe because I used to help a lot. In general, I don't like labels and the like, although I assigned very suitable nicknames to about ten friends, hee-hee, but they seem to be happy and don't complain. That's all. :D

RedB - a redhead, used to have the nickname Sonoko, because I used to be incredibly romantic, soft, and fluffy....

I originally had the nickname GIV (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name). Then I started coming up with different variations: GIFF, GEEFF, GEEVE... And one day, a friend told me a joke about Givi, and I immediately made my nickname GeeVee! That's the story...

And when I was about 13, I threw a large firecracker into someone's window. They started calling me a saboteur.

Since I changed my nickname, I hasten to report that my new nickname is somehow related to my last name. I won't provide any further details. I came up with the nickname myself. Previously, I was a Necromancer. That's all. Heh. :)

Specifically for Tanyusha, I'm writing a silly story about how I claimed a nickname that had long been overused by many :O)
Just over two years ago, when it suddenly occurred to me that Heroes could be played online, I installed GameSpy. I wandered into the Heroes 4 room and... didn't understand a damn thing. There were a lot of people, almost all of them rattling on in foreign languages; I reached out to those who would respond in hopes of catching a compatriot and finding out which buttons to press to play Heroes. The first one didn't answer, the second wrote something in English and put a question mark, the third apparently told me to get lost since asterisks appeared on the screen... and so on... Not a single day passed before I got fed up with it, and suddenly I realized I should change my nickname at the time to one easily recognized by Russians. I didn't think long and chose the most common Russian nickname written in Latin letters. The plus side is significant: in GameSpy, Russian players recognize me constantly )

And I used to have a whole set of nicknames when I was into WarCraft. One for each race. Alliance - Knight of life, Night Elves - Forest guard, Undead - Vollmond. I didn't play as Orcs.

My nickname came about when I first played the ADnD tabletop game. I spent a long time thinking about what to name my character, but nothing came to mind... and at that time, I had a dog named Kaylo... so that's where it came from.

Glowing paws and eyes, four arms with daggers, and its majestic name, Rakshas, sounds powerful and beautiful:cool:

I came up with my nickname like this:
1. I was very fond of The Lord of the Rings (even before the movie came out, I was into the book). So I became Saruman.
2. I became obsessed with Star Wars. It all started with the awesome game SW KotOR! And since I was also into The Lord of the Rings, I just combined all my interests into one nickname: Darth Saruman :cool:

My brother’s nickname is DartElrond. For a similar reason.

And I think everyone knows what my nickname is... Oblivion, also a pretty good game. By the way, Oblivion doesn't really strain my computer. Actually, I initially wanted to choose a gothic nickname, Vermilion, but Oblivion is also good, and they sound similar.
