Hello! The version of the heroes.exe file is 4.0 (Full version), and Hamachi version is 1.0.3.0. My opponent has the same versions. The following problem occurs during online play: After creating a random map, everything works normally, but when you save the game and then load it from that save, constant disconnections and "game exits" start to occur. We had to save and restart after each turn((( We tested this bug as follows: We load the save, it disconnects (Hamachi ping is around 130) - we tried several times, then we immediately start a new game (Hamachi ping was around 200) - there were no disconnections at all during the entire game!! Please advise what could be causing these post-save disconnections and how to avoid or fix them? Thank you in advance!

There are 2 versions. One is the regular Heroes of Might and Magic, the other is some kind of modified version.
I create regular games, and players connect to me from the "modified" versions. Everything works until the end of the first turn.
When I try to connect from the same version, it says "IP address not found." In the game itself, it shows that my IP is 192.168.1.2 (my internal IP). In the network connection settings, you can set a priority for connections (additional -> advanced settings). Now, in the game, my Hamachi IP is displayed. Games created in this subnet (e.g., 5.224.\*.\*) are displayed immediately. But when I click "connect," it says "connection timeout." The Hamachi versions are the same. The game versions are 100% identical (I archived and sent them over the internet. Previously, I was able to play this version of Heroes of Might and Magic over the internet using Hamachi).

After three days of struggling, we finally managed to set things up with a friend and started playing Heroes through Hamachi. Huge thanks to the forum users – we found a lot of helpful advice, we definitely wouldn't have managed on our own...

However, a small but very annoying problem arose. My friend has Vista, and Heroes crashes from time to time... we can basically live with that... now we save constantly. BUT:

when we start a new game and load a saved game, for some reason, one turn of the opponent is lost (depending on whose turn the game crashed). That is, if I pressed the "end turn" button, my friend had already made his move, then the game crashes, we load the autosave – everything seems to be as it was, but only for me. It's as if he didn't make his move. And a day has still passed (((
The same thing happens if we save manually instead of using autosave.

If anyone has encountered this problem, and especially if anyone knows how to fix it, please let us know!!! I would be extremely grateful.

When one of the opponents disconnects, the AI plays that turn for them. That is, there is no need to make a save/autosave after the disconnection – it will be incorrect. Load the save that was before the disconnection, and everything will be fine.

Almost forgot: you can only make saves during your turn.

Crashes? Do you mean that his turn isn't passed to him, or that the game closes with an error?
Which versions of the game have you tried? If it's "In the Wake of Gods" and the base game on which "In the Wake of Gods" is installed, then I think the problem is with the game itself.
