Dear friends! The Tournament Committee announces the start of the discussion for the "Player of the Year 2009" nomination, as determined by the HOMM3 (online) community. 1. Similar to the previous "Player of the Year 2008" contest, the following procedure is proposed for the contest: - Nomination of candidates for the title of "Player of the Year 2009"; - Voting; - Awarding and congratulations. 2. Criteria for a candidate for the title of "Player of the Year 2009": a) Registration on HW no later than September 30, 2009; b) Demonstrated achievements (successful performance in tournaments, seasons); c) Should be associated by HW users with our resource, be a permanent resident and patriot of it. ANY HW USER can nominate ONE candidate and, if desired, justify their choice. 3. After the list of candidates for the "Player of the Year 2009" nomination is approved, a vote will be organized. Any HW user has the right to vote for ONE candidate. The candidates themselves do not have the right to vote for themselves.

I support this nomination; he played very well in the tournaments. He achieved victories against some very strong players: Scorp, Decontaminator, and others!!!

It all depends on what the title "Player of the Year" means to you. I think you can proceed from either of the options you suggested.

P.S.: I personally haven't decided on a candidate yet. There are so many of them :)

Player Blackpoint is a smart and pleasant person. He has been playing Heroes for many years. He participated in the "Fathers and Sons" tournament, teaching newcomers. He is handsome and moderately well-built. He took on the responsibility of being the captain in the clan war. He is the only one who is pulling his clan forward. In short, he is a REAL MAN.

Player of the Year 2009: Gomunguls. Came to our forum quite recently and very quickly began to progress as a player. And now he can give a head start to many veterans of our forum. So that's how it is :)

Roman has improved a lot this year and is already giving our strongest forum members a hard time!! But many people fit this criterion!!
For me, this "Player of the Year 2009" nomination implies a person who is completely devoted to this game and experiences it as intensely as I experienced our national team's match against Slovenia :smile27:
And in terms of the number of games played in recent seasons, he is not inferior to Pasha Dubrovin and Valera (Loi), who also spent a lot of time playing 2-3 games a day...:smile13:

I've decided to nominate the unfairly forgotten Andriy – **bRitvo4kA**! He's been playing for a relatively long time, and the newcomers should compete for the "Rookie of the Year 2009" nomination, IMHO:cool:. He has many victories over the strongest players on the resource and has a positive win-loss record in personal matchups against many of them; he also won a season. He won in an excellent style against such a monster as AlexVelikiy. His belonging to the resource, I think, leaves no doubt for anyone.
