Just tried playing for the first time, level 126, against 52 demons, without secondary skills but with the Ring of Life :)

I had 66 on level 126, also with a ring, but with secondary stats as well.

In my opinion, this demonology is just a waste of time...))no offense))

Recently, I've been playing Inferno a lot, but I haven't really focused on demonology, although I think that with items like Sklaonchi or rings, and a Rampart hero with high knowledge, you can achieve quite good results, it's kind of an analogue to necromancy.

No offense, but I think it's absurd to rely solely on goats... it's too expensive and often not very effective.
Well, if the second-tier unit is indeed a Rampart and you have a Ring of Health, then maybe it's worth considering...
But otherwise, I'm all for fast units and flying creatures, meaning Cerberuses, Ifrits, and Devils together are much more effective than your goat horde.

Demons form a powerful attacking force when there are many of them. They are much more effective than Imps and Gogs, not to mention the early-level units from the secondary factions.

Kostyan, no one is arguing that Inferno is a terrible castle in TE-VT, it's very dangerous and strong there. But in SoD, it's just a headache. No respawn, no starting army, just a pain in the ass.

And 60 demons in the second week is not overpowered, in my opinion. =)

In TE-VT, it's a big advantage that demons can be defeated starting from level 113. And in general, I think Inferno will be good on HL+U and in SOD (although I haven't tested it in practice). But overall, considering the balance, I think Inferno in SOD is one of the strongest castles, clearly inferior only to
overpowered Necropolis and Dungeon with Shahkti.

what does it mean to "cut demons"? how is it possible to do this? in some kind of building?

To “cut” demons means to raise them in battle from your killed units into pit lords (they have such an ability). Demons raised from various units remain with the hero, and gradually a good, powerful stack accumulates.

Could you please provide working links to guides on demonology? I'm having trouble even against the AI, so any advice and insights would be appreciated, including when it's best to focus on this (what conditions favor it, besides the Rampart ring and secondary stats – are there any other factors?). Preferably for SoD.
