Hereby I would like to invite everyone to the first league tournament organized by LH in the new scene. This time we want to offer you something completely different from what was previously. All games will take place at Template Random Jebus Cross. In the group stage of the size L, in the final stage in size XL. Please hurry up with registration because the number of seats is limited to 32, and the time to complete registration expires on 28.12.2009. The winner will receive Premium account for next season as a reward. We wish you a successful struggle and new impressions !

NEWS FROM TOURNAMENT:

Reservation of seats in the tournament "Frenzy Attack" went smoothly, and at express pace! Thank you all players for interest. Registration is still opened ! We accept the applications of users who are willing play if one of the main players would have a problem with that (we don't exclude the increase in the number of participants).

I was even 43rd there! :) And the rules state there's a limit of 32 players per tournament. We'll just play as usual – not worrying too much about it.

Let's play as we usually do – not focusing on getting everything at once.

They also have other games where you pay, like buying a premium account and then you'll be happy... that's more Bay's style - they like to play for money there :)

Hi, masterangelo. I sent you an ICQ message. Please check it. I'm number 8 on the list. If we get 64 players, I think they'll increase the number of available slots. They have quite a few people – in the first 2 days, they registered the required 32 people.

It would be nice if they wrote down the rules... nothing is clear.

They have 3 types of rules for random maps there. This one is for the Expert level. At first glance, it doesn't differ from the WCL rules at all. They mostly play SoD there, so the tournament will probably be on it as well. If 64 players join, then it will be a tournament for 64.

I liked a lot of things – the status updates, the ICQ, GameRanger, GameSpy, and Hama... and especially the additional files – an analog of your TE. One file in the data folder removes artifacts related to Necromancy, navigation, and angel wings; another file removes unnecessary spells, like DD/Flight/Walking on Water. If you use their developments together with Lighter, then I don't even know why you'd need TE.

Almost every topic involving discussions about the two versions explains why TE is needed and what cannot be implemented in SoD. Learn to read, will you? :mad:

What a thought!
Maybe create a separate section for interportals and communication with foreign websites, perhaps in English? We need to expand our Heroes' horizons and befriend foreigners. I think they might feel a little awkward creating a topic in English among topics in an incomprehensible language. I felt a bit uncomfortable myself. And dedicating a separate section to them would be a sign of respect and a willingness to engage in dialogue. Something like that.
There are already enough relevant topics for such a section.

By the way, the LH website is the embodiment of this idea, only on a more global scale.

The point of Total Enhancement (TE) isn't about these things. Although they are either already implemented in TE or can be done in 10 minutes. However, a large number of TE features (even interface-related ones) cannot be implemented using files or programs like VBN's. That's why there's still a lot of room for these additional features to grow, even up to the "Light" version, let alone the "Full" version.

There is no English registration on HeroesWorld, and besides, everything here is not adapted for foreigners. Therefore, there's no point in promoting it. And the LH website was specifically made as an international community. So they attract people as best they can.

:confused: Britvochka, Джавдет, and others sometimes write in Ukrainian. Does this comment also apply to them?
