excellent support for it, fixing minor
bugs, creating an expansion and a patch with a map editor...

and complain. Everything is beautiful and well-done, the style
is consistent, the balance isn't off, as in the previous
parts of the Heroes series. Whatever you say, the fifth installment is
a great thing, and it will be enough for everyone for a long time.
You can spend hours shouting about the shortcomings
of individual elements of the game, or you can go and experience
the fifth installment as a whole, and enjoy the game. Games are made
to bring moments of pleasure. And I'm sure that even those who
are the loudest in pointing out the imaginary flaws of this game are still
playing it.

Well, of course, it's just my opinion. But I think many will agree.

A small addition - please pay attention to the number
of votes for the fact that Heroes V is a full-fledged continuation of the series.

So, I installed the fifth installment. Patched it. And haven't played it since. I can't say it's a bad game (quite the opposite, actually), but does it deserve to be called "Heroes"? I'm not focusing on the game's strengths and weaknesses; I'm talking about the spirit. When playing the third (and second) game, I felt connected to the Heroes universe. I was interested in how Yog, the Barbarian, became a Mage and then went back. I was interested in what happened to Archibald. I was interested in the fate of Lord Haart. But now... It feels distant from the "Heroes" we know. Everything feels empty...

“Terrible” implies a small size. If the size is large, there’s a chance it won’t be considered “terrible” anymore.
P.S. I played the fifth game. But I play very little because of the size. I don’t play at all anymore.

You can’t fix everything with just one change. Something else needs to be adjusted. But not by adding a new race of dwarves (why dwarves at all??), but by improving the game’s internal content. After all, the previous installments were much more well-thought-out.
