Geksorin, I completely agree with you! Even with five installments, the third one has far more fans. It's a fact!

I wouldn't rush to conclusions... I think there will be plenty of fans of the fifth installment as well. Especially if you consider various polls, the fifth game is currently the clear favorite. (just look at the poll on the main page of our portal)...

I agree, with a caveat! Let's look at the age range... mostly, people over 18 play the 3rd game (mostly ;) ), while younger generations also play the 5th game. They say lukewarm things about the 3rd game, saying the graphics aren't as good, and the storyline is "garbage"... from this, it follows that everything is eventually forgotten, everything passes, but we are obliged not to forget the 3rd game, because we grew up with it... Heroes are in each of us! I remember with tears in my eyes the time when I got "Armageddon's Blade"... I was the happiest person in the world!!!
Heroes is my youth... like the first kiss under a bridge, like the first fight, like the first hangover... Heroes 3 is eternal!:rolleyes:

No need to talk about the younger generation :) We happily play both Heroes III and Heroes V. Or, tell me, were you all 18 when Heroes III was released?
I remember the first time I played Heroes III. It was four years ago, and I was amazed by the atmosphere and style of the game. At first, not knowing the connection between King's Bounty and Heroes, I called Heroes III a plagiarism :) Shame on me :)

I was 11 years old when I first saw Heroes of Might and Magic III, and it still takes my breath away! And don't say that young people don't play Heroes III anymore; they just need a counter! :(

The 3-unit stack relies on numbers and more complex tactical combinations, which leads to diverse battles! The only drawback is the simple upgrade system!

This simplicity is the kind that is virtuous, not the kind that is worse than theft. Everything was straightforward, and you could assess your capabilities and tactics from the very beginning of the game. You weren't playing randomly, but according to your own plan, and that was interesting. But at the same time, unlike the fourth installment, there remained an element of surprise, an element of hero differentiation.

And unlike Heroes of Might and Magic V, Heroes of Might and Magic III never had any bugs!

And unlike the fifth game, the third one never had any glitches!

In the third game, I played on an old computer, and it didn't have any glitches! And the AI in the third game was better!

2 Celt I already wrote that people have forgotten what Heroes 3 version 1.0 was like. It was full of bugs, and spells didn't work as intended, and the game would crash on the 4th week when playing multiplayer or hotseat (healing using rather dubious methods)... and so on. And the bug with the double spell, which lasted until version 3.2, really amused people.
Besides, there's no need to bash Heroes 5. It didn't crash on me even once, all scripts always worked, and all spells and abilities were normal. No glitches were noticed.

I often play Heroes of Might and Magic III version 1.0, and I don't experience any glitches...

2 Celt I hope it will be included in the Bukovskaya version of The Restoration of Erathia? Then, be aware that it (like almost any localized version) is not version 1.0, but already includes a basic set of changes, which is usually related to the delay in the release of versions and the release of a couple of patches, which are immediately included in the localization.

You have to pay for good graphics with high system requirements... So you're arguing about glitches in Heroes 5 for no reason. You need a good computer for a normal game...

Well, you know, the graphics in Heroes 5 can't be called outstanding... compared to the sensation the graphics of the third game caused, the fifth game still has a long way to go...

It's a pity about all this...
