I also agree about "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." It's boring. It's the weakest of all six films.
It's a great film to take a little nap during. The only thing I would note is the scene with Dumbledore when he created the fiery ring. That would make a good screenshot! Everything else is boring.
Overall, it's a shame for the series. The first five films were good and steadily improving, becoming more serious and spectacular, especially "Order of the Phoenix." And that's why I was expecting "Half-Blood Prince" to continue the "tradition" of the series and be brighter and more beautiful than the previous one. But alas, no spectacle, no beautiful acting - nothing.
Отдай свои прошлые сны, В сомненьях себя обрети, В бешеном танце душа кружится! Не думай, что будет потом, Здесь и сейчас мы живем, Стань хоть на миг сам собой, слышишь!
"Dust". It's hard to say how it ended. It seems like it ended with the death of the main character or his complete downfall and the general degradation of everything. It's a shame that approximately a third or half of the film – the middle part – is quite boring. But overall, it's not bad, especially for those who are tired of the same old action movies/comedies/sci-fi.
"Back to the Future"
Man, it's such an old movie, but it's great. I watched it out of nostalgia because I really loved it as a kid... By the way, back then I was more into sci-fi.
Futurama. The whole thing. 72 episodes and four full-length movies, five seasons (4 technical), shown on REN-TV, and the sixth, which they were going to cut into 16 new episodes – now none of this exists. The dismantling has already begun, and the new season will only be released in the middle of next year! Aaaah!!!
And why is "The First Squad" only 69 minutes long? I watched it, and it felt like something was missing, like it lacked a proper ending... I just didn't watch it in a cinema, but on Smotri.com, maybe that's why.
Тому, кто сражается с монстрами, нужно сильно постараться, чтобы самому не превратиться в монстра. Клан "Вершители Асхана" - "Masters of Ashan"
2012. A pretty good movie. In terms of special effects, everything is done quite well and realistically. Well, of course, technology plus a lot of money always works wonders. As for the plot, don't expect anything unusual, and it's not the main focus in such films anyway. I don't know if it's still showing in theaters, but it's best to watch it on a big screen or, at worst, on DVD, with a home theater system and a good TV.
By the way, the plot itself is not mystical, but rather science fiction. The connection between the changes in the Sun, which triggered the great apocalypse, and the Mayan calendar is not explained. Perhaps it was just a coincidence. It raised a few questions and doubts for me, but maybe that's because I wasn't paying close enough attention or didn't have enough knowledge. But regardless, the film is very good and, as a continuation of the good traditions of "The Day After Tomorrow," is quite successful, no matter how you look at it.
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
In 2012, based on reviews, I decided to go to the cinema. I watched "Pandorum" the other day – it's a pretty good movie, although I didn't quite understand it, so I'll probably have to watch it again. I recommend it.
In 2012, I decided to go to the cinema based on reviews.
I wanted to go to the cinema, but now, based on the reviews, I'm not sure if it's worth it... "The special effects are good, but the plot is terrible"... is that really the case? It's from the director who made "The Day After Tomorrow," "Godzilla," etc. I think that's how it is... the special effects are modern and impressive, but the theme is the same... I also watched 2112 recently; it's not a movie for the cinema...
Watched "The Psychotherapist" with Kevin Spacey, and Woody Allen's "Whatever Works" (sex minorities are attacking, oh dear! No wonder, even the Denver festival is funded by a gay and lesbian foundation :(). I'm also planning to watch "Inglourious Basterds" by Quentin Tarantino (I've heard good things about it). From the less impressive ones - "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and "Surrogates" (apparently, people like this :()
Oh, I remembered, I also watched a pretty good musical film "Mamma Mia", but even there, it seems like it was paid for by gay people :(.
I advise against watching it... two hours of your time, you could spend it much better, in my opinion.
No. The special effects are really cool there. You can watch it just for that.
Bridge to Terabithia, thanks to Lizard.) I really enjoyed it... it's been a while since I've watched such a heartwarming movie...
