I've been helping a newbie for a couple of weeks now, and they still can't register on the World of Heroes. And there's also a problem with Hamachi; maybe someone can suggest what to do:

I don't remember if I told you this, but whenever I enter Hamachi, it disconnects me from the internet. Is this related to a change in IP address? Do you know how to fix it?

I have something similar:
Internet connection via a 3G modem. If, after entering multiplayer in TCP, I don't see the opponent's created game within 3 seconds and don't have time to join, it kicks me off the internet. I don't know what's causing this:smile32: :(

Now that both players are members of the same network, you can create a server (new - network - TCP IP - server), and the second player does the same, but chooses "join".

The problem is that we can see and ping each other through Hamachi, and we're happy about it. But inside the game itself, the "Login" button is inactive and grayed out.

Everything can be fixed by adjusting the additional settings: open the control panel/network connections, then in the "advanced" tab, select "advanced settings", then move Hamachi to the top of the list in the adapters - after saving the settings and restarting, you can see games created by others in Hamachi, and you don't need to enter the address manually.

Vog. Is there a way to solve this problem without changing providers?

WoG installation procedure:
1) Install The Shadow of Death (recommended) or Platinum Edition, or a previous version of WoG.
2) When installing The Shadow of Death, the directory is selected automatically (at least, that's how it works for me). Therefore, move all the contents of the Heroes folder to a folder whose path consists ENTIRELY of Latin characters, for example, C:\Games\Heroes III WoG
3) Extract all files from the allion1 archive into the allion1 folder, where a file named wog358f.part01 with the WoG icon and files with the RAR extension will appear.
4) Run wog358f.part01, and then confirm the path for extracting the files (by default, this is the WogInstall folder, which will be created in the allion1 folder).
5) After unpacking, the WogInstall folder will appear, which should be moved to the folder C:\Games\Heroes III WoG.
6) Run the install file from the WogInstall folder. After a while, a language selection menu will appear, followed by a window with the inscription "welcome" - click the "next" button.
A window with the "list of found components" and 3 buttons: "change patch", "install", and "cancel" will appear.
7) Click "change patch". In the window that opens, specify the path to the Heroes folder (C:\Games\Heroes III WoG) and click "ok".
8) After clicking "ok", the "list of found components" window will appear again - click "install".
After the WoG installation procedure, you will need to install the Russian language pack. To do this:
1) Extract 3 files with the wog extension from the rubeta358f archive.
2) Move these files to the directory C:\Games\Heroes III WoG\update.
3) Run the H3Wupd.exe file in the folder C:\Games\Heroes III WoG.
Then, follow the same steps as when installing WoG.
