Arcanum Books on MTG. "Brotherhood of the Ring" and so on... The Witcher from Kyiv is also kind of a witcher... although I don't know. P.S. I'm not a human.

As far as I know, the world of Arcanum exists only in RPGs. No books have been written about it yet (though perhaps they will be someday). The small amount of fan fiction doesn't count. However, Arcanum is undoubtedly unmatched in terms of the quality of its development and the underlying idea...
There is also the world of Wizardry, if we are talking about role-playing games. It also has a very interesting implementation of techno-fantasy - however, the conflict between magic and technology is not direct there, but rather social. Being in a flying machine there will not deprive a mage of their powers, cause nausea, or ultimately lead to a global catastrophe (as it will in Arcanum). But generally, peoples who develop technology rapidly are usually indifferent to magic, and mages are not interested in inventing a "national" space program, since portals are cheap and accessible.

I'm sorry, but "mil-creature" doesn't sound good :-(. MTG books – in my opinion, they are poorly made. And was Arcanum ever novelized? (I'm not counting "Time of Dragons," I've read it four times!)

I read the Chronicles of Amber in one sitting – I don’t remember how many books there were – 5 or 4? Then I started looking for other works by Zhelazny (you know how it is – you read something, you like it, and you want to read more by that author). So: nothing else appealed to me. I tried reading Zelazny – it turned out to be complete nonsense, I don't remember what it was. A parody of fantasy, and not a funny one. It seemed to me that his style was like this:rolleyes: ...

Come on, Vis, you know the dragon will die. Its scales are not even the thickness of a finger, but thinner. And if it were the thickness of a finger, it would still be organic scales that could withstand no more than... a pebble. At least.

Protected by whom? And why? And since it's ancient, that magic can be removed or broken even by a child.
