There are 3 days left until the end of the group stage. Let's see what happens if everything stays as it is:
Group A. Considering that Rhox has withdrawn (it's a pity, we're waiting for his return :)), the participants are: Volodymyr, Wlk777, Neoandy, Piterius.
Group B. Forrest, Andres (same number of points as Oelm, but more actual wins), Oelm, KostyaN (same number of points as Erdem, but more actual wins).
Ah, I rushed into playing with Darth, I should have taken my time and gotten my two tech wins like everyone else, then I would have been in first place =).
Ah, it's a pity I rushed into playing against Dirty; I would have taken my time and gotten my 2 tech wins like everyone else, and I would have been in first place =).
All questions and complaints about Dirty; if he had continued the fight, the others could have potentially drawn with him, instead of losing by 2 points. In that situation, you would have benefited, but unfortunately, he couldn't play.
And there's no way he could have won first place, even without counting Dirty's loss ;)
And the first one definitely doesn't, even if we don't count the loss in Dirt ;)
Dear organizer, add 2 and 2, and specifically 11+1, and pay attention to the tournament rules in case of a tie in points ;) Although, okay, I'm just saying this out of principle, in reality, it's not that important =)

You're quite principled, aren't you? Not everyone has finished playing yet; it's too early to be adding things up.
He set up his troops tactically and unleashed a full stack of Titans on the Black Dragon with Hatred, followed by stacks of Liches on the Dryads and Green Dragons. The outcome was clear. Thank you.
He set up his troops tactically and unleashed a full stack of Titans on the enemy's main building with Hatred, followed by Liches on stacks of wood and earth elementals. The outcome was clear. Thank you.
There's nothing more to add; the game ended perfectly. I can't do that. Thank you for the lesson...

I'm waiting for the official results of the preliminary stage, as promised by the tournament organizer for today. And especially for my opponent in the 1/4 finals. It seems the deadline has already passed. Well, let's assume there's still an hour left according to Ukrainian time.
P.S. Sincere respect to the tournament organizer, and please don't take offense at the minor criticism =). The idea itself is still good =).
Forrest (barbarian, ramp, water defense +2 speed) vs. Piterius (human barbarian, same).
I have a tactical advantage. I built a tank-like formation. The opponent's bears and horses can't reach me. As a result, they were wiped out. Petya is building to avoid losing. I plan to cast Blind. In the end, there's resistance, and my chances of winning are diminishing. But the executed Blind still balances the forces. After the resistance, I cast Slow. Then, Mark reduces gold by 2. The second round begins. Pegasus archers. I'm losing to dragons and pegasuses. In the first round, I use all my dragons, not giving the bears a chance to attack me first. After the Slow in the second round, there's a Cure spell for some reason (with the idea of healing the archers, but there are only 4 of them). I cast Mass Haste with all my dragons, with the idea of repeating the first round in the third round. In the third round, I use Slow with the birds, and after the other Slow spells, Blind is cast on my horses. But during the dragons' turn, healing occurs. I attack with dragons and horses on the archers, leaving 6 of them. No one moves forward (except for the birds, which are fighting each other). In the fourth round, a full-scale battle ensues, but without the involvement of cruisers. The bears destroy the cavalry. I protect them with my own units, preventing the enemy bears with Slow from attacking them. As a result, I anticipated the Slow (there are 4 of them), and Petya had to cast it. In response, I cast Blind on the cruisers and focus on the ogres. Then comes the message of surrender after focusing on the bears. Thank you for a good battle!

Forrest (barbarian, ramp, water off-defense +2 speed) def. Piterius (human barbarian, same). I had a tactical advantage. I built a tank formation. The opponent's bears and cavalry couldn't reach me. As a result, they waited. Petya built his units to avoid losing. I planned to cast Blind. In the end, there was resistance, and my chances of winning were reduced. But the executed Blind still balanced the forces. After the resistance, I cast Blind. Then, Mark cast -2 gold. The second round begins. Pegasus archers. I'm losing to dragons and pegasuses. In the first round, I used all my dragons, not giving the bears a chance to attack me first. After the wait in the second round, there's a Cure spell for some reason (with the idea of healing the archers, but there are only 4 spells). I cast Mass Bless. I use all my dragons, with the idea of repeating the first round in the third round. In the third round, I wait with birds, and after the other waits, Blind is cast on my cavalry. But during the dragons' turn, healing occurs. I attack with dragons and cavalry on the archers, leaving 6. No one moves forward (except for the birds, which are fighting each other). In response, Blind is cast on the cruisers. An attack on the ogres. And then comes the news of the surrender, after focusing on the bears. Thank you for a good battle!
I made three mistakes: I lost the advantage I had gained in magic, I let him win once, even though I built my units to prevent that, and I skipped turns with cavalry and cruisers at crucial moments. Forrest didn't make any mistakes, so he deservedly won. And he also taught me something.
The group stage is over, and now the most interesting part begins :)
I've assigned draws to everyone who hasn't played yet. Oelm asked me to assign him losses in the unplayed games.
Thus, in Group A, I won :), leading Rhox by half a point. In Group B, Forrest took 1st place, scoring the maximum number of points. KostyaN and Erdem have the same number of points, but KostyaN has played more games, so he is higher in the table.
The standings in the groups haven't changed, and the playoff lineup is the same as previously announced.
In the first game, the players listed first in each pair start, and then the others follow in order. We play until 2 wins.
The deadline for this round, according to the regulations, is October 15, 2009 (inclusive). However, considering the Kyiv qualifiers, we might extend it slightly.
Oelm (Tower, Ramp LS, Tactics, Archers) def Wlk777 (Dungeon Castle, Air, Tactics, Offense, +2 Speed) TK3 SOD
Took the High Ground, Titans, Woods, Group of Unique Units, Elf Archers, Archmages, Naga Queens.
He gave me a good matchup; I could have gone for contact, taken Berserkers, or LS. I thought for a long time about whether to go for a contact build with Pigmen or a ranged build with Mages. I decided that ranged units looked promising in any case, and that the attack would likely be a full stack against the Castle with Hatred, and that Elves are good ranged units. So, I'm playing. I set up my units using tactics. And then, immediately, a mass air shield. Well, I thought, air is a bad thing. I even thought about surrendering soon, as I had to rely on my opponent making mistakes. And the first mistake was casting Shield instead of Haste. Because in the first round, the Mages and Titans attacked the Castle, so the Shield wasn't very effective, but with Haste, I could have put on some good pressure. I shoot the Archers at the Archmages. -1, as far as I remember. Blind resists on the Knights:(.
Second round. They attack my Nagas, and also attack with Dragons again, I think, at the Mages.
The Nagas die, but then I cast Blind on the Knights - it works! + The High Ground attacks with 2 stacks, the Archmages resurrect a Mantis, and again, I should have cast mass Haste on my opponent or healed the Knights, but I didn't.
Third round: Now I'm keeping the Knights and Archers under Blind, shooting with the Titans, and the Archmages are destroying the Elves.
4th round, I managed to trick Valentin, and he was left without a cast.
5th round - I finish off everything except 2 Archmages, full stacks of Knights and Crusaders are standing under Blind, I have Titans, 42 Mages, and 5 High Ground units alive.
6th round - Valentin makes a mistake, but it probably won't change the outcome. He waits with the Archmages, then I destroy them, I wait 2 rounds for the air shield to wear off, and then I shoot down the rest.
Oelm (Tower, Barbarian Offense Defense +2 Speed, Water) def Wlk777 (Dungeon Ramp Air, Tactics, Offense, +2 Speed) TK3 SOD
Here, I got to play with meaty units against a medium-strength opponent.
I have Titans, Nagas, Imps, Golems, Ogre Mages, Griffins, 10 Djinns.
1st round - they cast mass Haste and attack me. On the Woods' turn, the turn passes. Blind and Paralyze were cast on me, so I have to cast mass Dispel, and the Woods are now disabled.
I immediately attack the Castle with Imps, and thanks to this, after the Golems' attacks, the High Ground units are destroyed, -7 of them.
2nd round - again mass Haste, but I'm already casting, and as a result, the balance of power is slowly but surely shifting in my favor (since they have no armor). After a couple of rounds, it became clear.
2:0
Thanks for the games.
Took +2 speed, offense, armor, water, basic tactics, attack, mana, spell, and boots. Dragons, horses, wood, 55 pegasuses, cats, mines.
Kostya also has melee, but with earth. Nerokons, cruisers, archers, vampires, horses, 9+1 ghosts.
They started to wait, the cruisers went forward, and the nerokons defended, I didn't understand why. On the ghosts' turn, a shield is cast, and my horses are attacked. I dispel and attack the archers, which reduce the horses to 10.
In the second round, I almost buried myself, I fly back to my side with an attack on the ghosts, and aging works. I try to block them, it works, no one attacks in this round.
In the 3rd round, Kostya makes a gift, casting a shield on the archers' turn, I naturally dispel and do 2 attacks, and I almost evened it out here :)
Then there's a fight, with a sufficient number of mistakes on both sides. But I managed to turn the tide, not without a bit of luck, antimoral only hit once in the battle, on 17 pegasuses.
