I mean with alt-taps. And without them, everything except the 1st level creature fits into 2 decks.

We'll create a poker-style deck with 54 cards.
Next... I'm not very familiar with the 5th game, but as I understand it, there are 8 factions. Accordingly, there are three options:
1) We can create two decks, each with 4 factions, and include creatures with upgrades.
2) We can create one deck. With 2 factions per suit, without upgrades, including all creatures. Here, we can draw an analogy: evil faction with evil, good with good, neutral with neutral...
example: humans + elves = diamonds.
3) We can create one deck, limiting ourselves to four factions with upgrades.
example: humans = diamonds; Necropolis = clubs, etc.
I personally lean towards the 2nd option, as it allows us to include all monsters and factions in one deck, which, in my opinion, would be more appropriate.
Write which option you like best and describe which suit you think should be assigned to which faction.

Here's an even more detailed version of what a card might look like...
What about the idea of including creatures from two opposing factions in each suit?
Clubs - Dungeon and Sylvan
Spades - Necropolis and Gnomes
Hearts - Inferno and Haven
Diamonds - Orcs and Mages
But overall, it's turning out quite well ;)
Except the ones we've made
Bow down and hear our cry,
Our earthly rulers falter,
Our people drift and die,
The walls of gold entomb us,
The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
Take away our pride.
G.K. Chesterton: English Hymnal
Hmm... What if we represent creatures with numbers and heroes from walt to king? By the way, there's an archive on one site with a very decent collection of artwork from the 5th game (including portraits of many heroes). It might be very useful for your project. Here's the link. (the archive is large, about 68 MB, I hope there won't be any problems with downloading)
And what about aces - Castle?)

In short, people are voting for the 5th game, I'm not against it, the main thing is that Nival doesn't cut my hands off.

1 or 3 is the best. In a poker deck, as I understand it, there are jokers - we can put neutral creatures like phoenixes on them (there are two of them, I think).
And I would suggest putting heroes on the aces ;)
Example:
Diamonds deck (Castle):
2 – Peasant
3 – Archer (Heroes 2)
4 – Spearman
5 – Squire (Heroes 4)
6 – Crossbowman
7 – Swordsman
8 – Monk
9 – Cavalier
10 – Champion
Jack – Paladin (Heroes 2)
Queen – Countess (use the image of a female lord hero from Heroes 4)
King – General (use the image of a general hero from Heroes 4)
Ace – Archangel
Clubs deck (Stronghold):
2 – Goblin
3 – Wolf (Heroes 2)
4 – Berserker (Heroes 4)
5 – Wolf Rider
6 – Boar Rider
7 – Orc
8 – Troll
9 – Ogre
10 – Roc
Jack – Cyclops
Queen – Amazon (female barbarian hero from Heroes 4)
King – Barbarian (barbarian hero from Heroes 4)
Ace – Ancient Behemoth
Spades deck (Necropolis):
2 – Skeleton
3 – Skeleton Archer (Heroes 5)
4 – Zombie
5 – Ghost
6 – Wraith (Heroes of Might and Magic)
7 – Poisonous Slime (Heroes 4)
8 – Vampire
9 – Mummy
10 – Lich
Jack – Knight of Death
Queen – Death Lady (Knight of Death hero from Heroes 4)
King – Lord of the Dead (Lich hero from Heroes 4)
Ace – Phantom Dragon
Hearts deck (Rampart):
2 – Leprechaun (Heroes 4)
3 – Satyr (Heroes 4)
4 – White Tiger (Heroes 4)
5 – Centaur
6 – Dwarf
7 – Elf
8 – Sniper
9 – Dryad
10 – Pegasus
Jack – Unicorn
Queen – Forest Queen (female ranger hero from Heroes 4)
King – Druid (druid hero from Heroes 4, but not a black person)
Ace – Golden Dragon
Diamonds deck (Fortress):
2 – Gnoll
3 – Lizard
4 – Serpent
5 – Boar (Heroes 2)
6 – Rogue
7 – Nomad
8 – Mantis (Heroes 4)
9 – Wasp Nest (Heroes 4)
10 – Wyvern
Jack – Basilisk
Queen – Witch (female battle mage from Heroes 4)
King – Master of Creatures (battle mage from Heroes 4)
I think mixing creatures with artwork, castles, and spells wouldn't look very good, and some of these could be placed on jokers, as suggested earlier. As for the heroes, placing them on aces would be a good idea (a good idea, Holy_Paladin).

The idea lives on! I just haven't had the time...
But it would be a shame..., I would gladly buy them, even at a higher price. I would like to see at least one unit from Heroes 1 in the cards.
P.S. Let me know in a private message when you're done, I'll definitely buy them.
Sincerely, VDV_forever
