Okay... that's better! I'll try playing: rolleyes: Are you accepting players?
Amaranth once suggested creating an atmosphere inspired by TES; I decided to support the idea, even though it's been done before. Maybe we can revisit it in the winter... So, if there are 2 factions, the setting could be Morrowind: competing Great Houses (you could even make it without any citizens :D). If there's only 1 faction, Cyrodiil (Oblivion) would be perfect: a mysterious revolutionary cult, the Mythic Dawn, with its activities pushing the Empire to the brink of collapse... And there's plenty of room to create interesting characters. :)
Morrowind appeals to me more, but no one prevents taking elements from the past, such as the King of Spades, etc., because assassins are already getting tiresome.
P.S. Let's have a Mafia-style game set in Daggerfall!
I played and also discussed this topic with Am. He was already thinking about outlining the story and so on, but he needs help. The game will most likely take place in Morrowind, between the Great Houses (Hlaalu and Redoran, maybe Telvanni). I don't know about the rest.
But I think we could make a war between guilds... maybe Thieves vs. Morag Tong (or whatever it's called).
The only thing I don't like is that they're using well-known settings; I'd prefer something more original and created from scratch. Otherwise, we'll end up with something like The Sims, because we're essentially role-playing as well-known characters. P.S. Soon, there will be a day when we'll be playing a Mafia game based on Heroes. Let's have a role as Sandro's henchman!
Could you pit Kamonn Tong against Morag Tong, or perhaps have them clash with the Imperials? Morag Tong seems to be nationalistic, doesn't it (or am I mixing them up with Kamonn Tong?)? I played parts 3 and 4 and would like to play Morrowind, but the old-school version won't install, and I haven't seen any Russian localization for it.
Ple-Sen As far as I know, Buggerfall was released for free, as a kind of gift for the game's anniversary: 15 years after the release of Arena. I think there's even a fan translation available online: those who seek will find it.) P.S. I think Kamonna and Morag are the same. At least, that's how it seemed to me.
By the way, I was thinking – maybe we could introduce a system of “preliminary NDs”? So, if someone leaves, but the day hasn’t ended yet, and they’re going to be gone for a long time (to work/sleep), that player could send their ND to the GM in advance. That way, the night would pass much faster, because we wouldn’t have to wait for just one person for the entire 24 hours… I’m just suggesting it.
It already exists, just unofficially. Sometimes, by the middle of the day, you already know who the Night Detective will be and send that information to the Game Master. Several people have sent me this information in 3-4 Mafia games.

Hello :) Naughty folks, they closed the thread without waiting for me... Anyway, the main reason I'm writing is to support Magnus. I liked it :) It turned out very vivid. And the clues... I'll single out one: streams-rivers-oceans, brutal! Overall, great, I'm serious! If I had been playing and reading carefully, I would have definitely latched onto it, and hanging TaKo would have been super easy. Sort of like the Iron Maiden, awesome. The others were a bit trickier, but oh well. Anyway, it was fun, that's the main thing.
What else. I didn't really bother much with solving, I just asked Pandora and Reven who they were, and that was it =) Good ol' Pandora didn't want to rat out her accomplices no matter what)) I saw through Zubr right away, but it took a lot of effort to convince him he was mafia... The dialogues went something like this: - I'm telling you, I'm not mafia! - Come on, am I against it or what? Just saying, don't give yourself away too much)) It took about three days for him to admit it)
I wouldn't have even thought about TaKo, she played great. Vih just didn't fit into the crossword for me, though I tried. Too bad I can't solve them upside down like Ney...
Areg - good as always. I'm afraid they'll be killing him first from now on)) Lizard just killed me with his Berbers... "whose inflamed brain..." Liz, you know, forgive me for calling you a "beast"... That was totally a typo) Well, that's about all my impressions. With nostalgia, I remember the first mafia game; for obvious reasons, it was my favorite. And I want another simple mafia again with one gang and complex clues =) As soon as I can be around more often, I'll organize something. And thanks to everyone for this one :)
