Before using the codes, you need to enable the console: open the autoexes.cfg file in the game's profiles subfolder and add the following line to the end of the file, after the lines // Startup and mainmenu:
setvar dev_console_password - schwingedes-todes
Save the file, launch the game, and open the console by pressing the tilde key.
Now you can enter the codes.

I'll let you in on a secret. In version 1.2, passwords don't work... so these cheats are no longer relevant. Now you can only cheat using Art Money and other programs.

Why? I'm doing fine without cheats. :)

In my opinion, cheating is for weaklings who don't have the brains to win against a dumb AI.
