My interests are primarily related to mathematics and computer science.
Unfortunately, no. I don't find anything interesting in mathematics; it's an abstract science, after all. However, applied mathematics is a different story.

Therefore, I will most likely enroll in the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Perm State Technical University, specializing in mathematical modeling.
Back then, I didn't really understand much, but I almost guessed correctly. I would have gone there if I hadn't been accepted into the Faculty of Physics, where I will begin my studies on September 1st. But mathematical modeling is a very complex field in terms of mathematics. Here's an example of a mathematical modeling problem:
Optimal product realization. A company produces three types of products from three types of raw materials. The reserves of raw materials and the consumption rates of raw materials for the production of one unit of product are known, and a production plan is given. The products can be sold in two locations with different selling prices and different delivery costs. Develop a plan for the realization of products with maximum total profit.

Well, your problem can be solved in one step. :) You just need to study the science of logistics. I had a 5 in logistics =) What makes this 5 especially valuable is that I managed to get it, because these types of problems are incredibly difficult. Otherwise, sometimes you come to an exam for a subject, and at the beginning they ask: who are you?, and at the end they give you a 5, which is uninteresting.

I don't know how it's solved scientifically; we drew some kind of tables in class and filled in numbers, and it somehow solved itself =)

Without it, Russia would be populated not by uncultured people, but by some kind of barbarians:smile04: Ideally, this industry should be developed, and in terms of investment, an educated nation is much more prestigious. The Russian person is intelligent and resourceful, an inventor by nature, and if this energy is not wasted, then it is possible to achieve the glory of past days, and even surpass it.
