Buildings must be taken into account. If they exist, it means they can be used, which is a plus for the unit in any case.
And if I understand the idea correctly, units and their upgraded versions should be considered separately. Or, in general, only the upgrade should be considered.
Upgraded and non-upgraded units definitely need to be considered separately. Considering only upgraded units isn't entirely correct, as the game frequently features non-upgraded units. In particular, skeletons. And in the early stages of the game, there are generally many non-upgraded units. Moreover, this table should help a new player understand what they are attacking.
Then I suggest comparing units within their level range. All units of the first level should be compared with each other, the second level with the second, and so on. This will be more fair... Just without formulas, because it probably wouldn't be accurate.
Heh, that's what I was doing, comparing the first level units with the first level units, and so on. But we definitely won't be able to create a perfect formula. Even Einstein wouldn't be able to come up with it, let alone us... :)

Yeah... I entered the formula into Excel and used FizMiG to calculate the scores for all units – it turned out to be complete nonsense. (in principle, most of them were calculated correctly, but some moments... :(, like a non-upgraded halberdier being stronger than an upgraded centaur – it's absurd)
Okay, here's something to keep you busy (instead of goofing around like Beavis and Butt-head... yeah, speed is cool, very cool, very cool, yeah...):) I'll give you some material for discussion: how it didn't work out for me :-) It's a complete mess, but it's interesting to look at:
The formula needs to be adjusted.
Upgraded fairies are the weakest – this is incorrect.
A skeleton warrior is equal in strength to an archer – this is incorrect.
A vampire lord is in fifth place in its tier – this is incorrect.
Speed, retaliatory strike, and abilities need to be taken into account, as well as, by the way, double strike.
Tested the formula.
It needs to be adjusted – the value of the defense stat is unreasonably inflated.
The thing is that half of a creature's hit points are almost always noticeably higher than the average damage dealt.
The exception, as far as I remember, is snipers, but they are not available for recruitment in the Castle. And, of course, peasants:))).
I think we'll have to sacrifice some universality and focus on the average stats of a unit within a specific tier.
I would have liked to come up with a formula that would allow comparing a dragon and a peasant, but alas. However, as it seems to me, within these parameters, the calculation will be more objective.
