It seems that the next installment of the Mafia series is being taken for granted. Therefore, I think it would be appropriate to express some wishes... In general, I would like to see this done in the spirit of Heroes... At least, it should be fantasy.
Although the setting of the USSR would make my brain work much better this time, then I definitely won't manage to create an interesting role in the first night. :D

Against the "fantasy mafia." I suggest setting it in the science fiction genre, specifically in the "cyberpunk" subgenre.

Personally, I'm a fan of fantasy, but I don't mind science fiction either (although the fantasy setting is more appealing ^^).

I like the fantasy idea better – it allows for a good way to portray the idea of three warring factions!
1st faction – humans;
2nd – possibilities include: elves, barbarians, some kind of heretics;
3rd faction – 1 character, but super-overpowered, because he's a necromancer (kills once, and then his zombies do everything for him).

How do you imagine this?
One faction, in any case, should be "hidden." That is, there will be no war. And I don't like the plot "barbarians infiltrated the city and are now trying to destroy the peaceful inhabitants, hiding among them and killing at night."

well, I don't know, the system will still be the same, so changing the setting doesn't really matter.
But I like fantasy more, although for variety, you could also have something else (like Arcanum or sci-fi, although the latter is hard for me to imagine (roles, etc.)).

The fantasy setting could be based on the following principle: A magical country or city where certain magical disciplines, such as necromancy, are prohibited. However, mages emerge who decide to study these forbidden arts. A third party could be a small team of spies from another country.

I don't want fantasy; I want a regular urban mafia setting; it's easier to relate to, in my opinion.

There will definitely be a week-long break. Maybe even longer. The rest is unknown. I think the atmosphere will depend on the game master by about 70%.

That's obvious, the GM is the boss) whichever world they want to run, that's likely what it'll be)
PS by the way, if the game does start, I have a wish regarding avatars — everyone should change them, preferably not to blank ones (probably).. it's just easier for the GM to compose clues when there's a lot of activity, imo) since the profile stays pretty much the same, and changing an avatar is easier than changing a signature (I won't change mine!!!) or rewriting info

Any knowledgeable One Piece fan could come up with a ton of evidence ^^ And at the very least, every anime fan should know One Piece, since it's the best shonen in the world (various Bleaches and especially Naruto aren't fit to lick its boots) ^^
