Respect to the Mafia - well done.

To be honest, at night, the mafia had a huge advantage. They simply didn't need to kill Arandor; instead, they could kill Amarant (although Arandor himself ordered the hit on him). Then, no matter what, it would be easy to blame Arandor, and the mafia would be left alone with the king, meaning they would win.

This is a debatable point. If we had killed Amarant, and Ar had stabbed someone from the mafia, the mafia would have lost anyway, even if Ar was blamed (in my opinion, in a King vs. mafia scenario, the king always wins). It was precisely because we were afraid that Ar might come after one of us that we decided it was best to kill him. :)

I understand your reasoning, but the scenarios of 1 Mafia versus 1 King and 2 Mafia versus 1 King are identical. In either case, the Mafia must eliminate the King during the night. And in this situation, everything depends on chance. I told you that in the scenario of 2 Mafia versus 1 King, I would give the victory to the Mafia, precisely because of the element of chance.

It all turned out to be quite confusing. I suspected that Am was a blood relative:cool:. I still don't see Arandor's "alleged clues" in his avatar – the earring and the stone (maybe you can point them out to me, the clueless one:confused:). Hermit was somehow sneaking around at night during Am's investigation – this was described incorrectly, in my opinion, and it was quite misleading.

To be honest, we played rather poorly. We shouldn't have started with Magnus, at least. Then, Liz and I were giving ourselves away with our posts, using a lot of emojis and so on. And a couple of times, we either nominated the wrong people for recruitment or killed the wrong people. Regarding the last murder, I think we did the right thing – the main thing is that the king believed us;) (and how Ar was supposed to act – we didn't know, he could have killed one of us:rolleyes:). We didn't touch the king – it's clear why. We decided to finish everything more reliably:smile51: ...

I played poorly at the beginning, and a couple of times, I didn't have time to vote against my own team to earn a good reputation:D. But then I got into the swing of things, and in the end, I personally ensured the mafia's victory by about 90% (without false modesty:o): I enjoyed "deflecting" suspicion, confusing the clues with flowers and perfumes, and the last two votes (especially against Ulrik, where I paused, asked "why is this happening to him?", and pretended to be clueless – although I could have finished him off with a decisive vote right away, while I still had the chance:D); I really got into it when I had to discredit Amarant at the very end (and to my great surprise, I succeeded:eek:, oh! the lawyer in me is coming out:D) – I think you'll remember the "masterpiece" with the "strange character of the emoji at the end" for a long time:D!

In general, I think my role is overpowered and needs to be fixed, perhaps with some clues under the door if recruitment fails...

What about the next Mafia game?
Let's take a break for at least a week or more... Maybe try GMing:rolleyes:. I can do it with someone, as it seems a bit difficult to do alone.
What ideas do you have for the historical setting? Again, the Middle Ages, modern times, some Chicago in the 1920s, or maybe something about the Soviet Union in the 1930s, with the search for enemies of the people and spies?:)
What if we introduce in-game currency (we just need to figure out how and what it will be used for)? I'll try to attract new players;) (if the old ones are tired:)).

The spaceship needs a crew, XD.

The observation about the pause is accurate. As for the setting... I think either a space theme or fantasy would work.
It might also be possible to try with 3 factions.

I was completely wrong about Neira, although I was sure until the very last moment that she was the courtesan; her messages raised too many suspicions.

I couldn't even imagine at the beginning that I would be almost the main killer in this mafia, playing the role of captain. I eliminated аж three of them :)

I guessed very well about Cash... Although, there was also some logic here. After all, they praised him after the last two mafia games as one of the best players. It was worth expecting that someone would try to eliminate him. I could have just as easily targeted Amarant, but I didn't, because I assumed that he would still be given a chance to play and not be killed on the first night again :)

It was more difficult with Kyle, but purely intuitively, from his posts, I concluded that he was a good guy. Having latched onto him, I decided to protect him. As it turned out, not in vain :)

I immediately eliminated Lizard when I learned from the GM that he was the head of the mafia. However, in doing so, I revealed myself too much (Ulrik was in a hurry to reveal the clue), and as a result, I was recruited and joined the lonely Kostyan ;)

It turned out to be really interesting, incredibly confusing, but that only added to the excitement. Thank you to all the participants for the game, and special thanks to Zubr for the excellent mafia game ;)
