There are no mermaids on the map. I have two gremlins and one gargoyle hidden, and only one naga, but I have two native towns. Realizing that I won't find any big treasures or artifacts on this map, and that Shachti has probably exhausted his map, I built town halls and a capitol, and just collected money and resources to buy everything. I managed to do it. Shachti has better stats, but Fafnir, at level 23, has 82 queen nagas. I was very lucky; the initial situation gave my opponent no chance. I played on Jebus for the first time (I think :D), so as soon as I cleared the entire map, I got a little lost :o.
After a few manipulations in the "desert," I decided to go and attack my opponent, after returning home first.
In the final, despite the high stats, there were no chances against the opponent's forces, which were several times larger :)
