It’s best not to delay in this mission; you need to use a blitzkrieg tactic. First, capture the first city of the Forest Alliance, then Inferno, and continue through the Dungeon until you reach the surface. You can follow the main path, or you can turn into one of the branches of the Dungeon (it seems to be the second one), and after just one day's travel, there will be an elven garrison there. Capturing it will allow you to take the second city of the Forest Alliance much faster. The third city will be at the opposite end of the map, but it is unlikely to offer significant resistance, so you don't need to rush to it.
Also, in the city of Inferno, in order to preserve your elf army (since you cannot quickly gather many troops in Inferno, it is better to leave the elves behind), I recommend hiring a secondary hero who should follow Agrael and collect his troops at the end of each turn. This way, soldiers won't desert from the army.
And along the way, of course, you need to capture mines, dwellings, etc..

P.S. When I recently completed this mission, several squads of archers joined me for some reason at the very beginning. Because of this, I didn’t use the Inferno army throughout almost the entire mission. Perhaps you will be as lucky, and you will easily eliminate any opponent in your path.

If they are available there, then of course, it would be especially good to replenish the ranks of archers. :) If they are not, it is better not to linger. And if your troops are no longer sufficient for further advancement, then, I think, it makes sense to fortify your position until reinforcements arrive in the city, build the necessary dwellings for creatures there, and have Agrael explore some mines and other useful buildings by the end of the week so that he doesn't just sit around. :)

I completed this mission quite easily. First, I captured the lower Elven Castle, then rushed towards Inferno. After capturing Inferno, I had only 134 Master Archers in my army (I gathered them along the way). I gave these archers to the hero I hired in the tavern... hmm, what was her name... the one with the catapult that shoots fireballs... Ah, Delib. Argail fortified himself in the city, and Delib I sent to the northeastern exit from the Underworld, and, of course, he started capturing mines. Delib, with just the archers, easily took over the castle near the exit, which was fully built, by the way. Argail, with his reinforcements, started clearing out the dungeons. The northeastern city was taken from me twice, but Delib, with reinforcements from the lower city, took it back. After that, they didn't bother me anymore. Then, I calmly cleared the map, capturing the northwestern city and gathering troops along the way. Argail defeated the dragons and proceeded to Erivell (I think that's the name) to level up. He cleared out the outposts and took dragons, druids, and archers from the Elven Castles, and Cerberuses, Succubi, Cave Krakens, and Archdevils from Inferno (of course, not himself, but with his heroes). And I easily defeated the hero in Erivell with almost no losses. By the way, it was none other than Alastor (I think that's his name) - the Elven King. Difficulty: Hero.

Nothing works for me. I've tried 8 or 9 times, starting from the top and going down, and vice versa... Still, they "defeat" me. Please, tell me in more detail about the method you used to complete it.

I haven't encountered their heroes. I captured a demonic town, then went to gather archers for the dragons. I did this as a spy, moving from place to place. I didn't take them in castles but hired them as mercenaries on the map... When I gathered enough archers, I immediately went to the dragons... For some reason, they wanted to FIGHT! It was a waste of time, I defeated them... And then I went further and captured an empty port town. VICTORY! By the way, this was on the highest difficulty. I didn't even have a chance to fight their heroes because they simply overwhelmed me; their armies were several times larger.

I don't understand something. Where are the dragons located? I explored the entire map, conquered one demon city and three elven cities, and only the last one remains – the main one. So, where are the dragons?

It's better to go through the dragons, but if you just defeat them, the additional quest will fail. Therefore, it's better to capture the Elven castles and then take the port. If you don't have the "Summon Ship" spell, you need to try to get it by building mage guilds in the captured cities; it will be very useful in the next mission.

I first captured the demonic castle, and there are 2 entrances (an entrance and an exit to the dungeon). 2 elves come out with a huge army and :smile15: :smile29: and kill me :smile15: :eek: :mad:

It is best to capture the first (bottom) Elven castle, then immediately go west along the path to the second, then east to the third, and only then, after gathering strength, go to the Demon castle.

Also, proper character development, combat tactics, and most importantly -preserving your troops are needed!!! If you suffer many losses, it is better to replay the battles...:smile32:

And here's what happened to me:
So, I conquered the nearest Elven castle, then gathered more troops and went to attack the Inferno castle.
But there's a problem: my troops run away, saying something like, "We don't want to fight our own kind."
So, I manage to capture the Inferno castle, which I think was called "Shio," and then this idiot comes and attacks my castle... and that's where I get crushed... Then it says, "SORRY! YOU LOST..."
It's annoying...

it's better to capture all three Elven castles first – start with the bottom one, then quickly run northwest to the second and hire another hero, giving him troops before the next turn (so they don't run away). Then, head east to the third. After that, go to the dungeon for demons:smile13:..
actually, there's a detailed walkthrough of all the campaigns on "Huggolka" – so there are no problems..
