Here is the edited picture of Zara that I made myself, as many people were confused by the tail. I made it in Paint, so it didn't turn out very well.

For the first time, without any tutorials, I tried to draw anime :) I know how much time it takes for ordinary people, but I'm clearly slow; it took me 2 hours to draw this xDD And I still couldn't get the hand right :( I had to delve into plastic anatomy:o But I did it anyway!!! :smile03: I understood the key! :smile50:



Well, now I'll download anime tutorials and draw consciously)

Ta-da! I found those little doodles! Sharing them now. Processed in Photoshop.

I decided to draw something too; I haven't posted anything here in a while:o Here's a sketch. The character's name is Kirenat. He's one of those typical "stone" fighters who can break vases with a glance and walls with a kick. Kirenat is afraid of heights and can't swim very well. But he can summon storms, earthquakes, and many other cool things. The clothes... hmm... I'm not very good at drawing them.
And Poser... I don't know how I lived without it. It's incredibly useful. I have version 7 with all sorts of cool things like dinosaurs and animals (people, of course). I also have version 8, but as far as I know, it's not very popular. If anyone needs it, I can send a link.

Well, here are my sketches from yesterday, just so there isn't any plain text. I hope to refine them someday...

Striped, here's some advice for the future: if you're drawing a full-body character, don't draw the face in detail right away; don't emphasize the muscles so strongly with clear lines; more often, artists use proportions of 8 heads, not 7 (comic book artists even use 9-10).

Yesterday, they bought me a new set of colored pencils... I found an old drawing done with a black pen and decided to "break in" the new purchase:D... I don't remember if I posted that colorless version before... oh well.

Mulder, those are cool drawings, it's just a shame that the size is small (or does the shading look better this way?).
