Actually, it was ISQ 6.0 - 6.5... Now Miranda is installed. I generally despise QIP.
ICQ in general. Why do you hate it? It's better than all those trashy messengers, although it's not perfect either, but it's simple, and minimalism is also good.

Skype registration isn't that complicated, I mean, if someone can barely manage Qwip, they probably don't need Skype either.

But the creators of ICQ aren't to blame for this. It all started with the creators of ICQ, who changed the protocol so that people would use their program instead of the domestic ICQ. Everything was fine before.
I didn't use ICQ for long, just a couple of days, then QIP for about 2 months, and now I only use R&Q – it's buggy and unfinished, but it's still more original and interesting.

Maybe you have an outdated version? The latest is 8092; I'm using 8090, and it still works fine, although the client persistently asks me to update it, but that's okay. :)

I've installed the latest version several times. At first, everything seems to be working normally, but after a couple of minutes, it says the connection is interrupted, and then it reconnects, saying that everything is fine online, but there's no connection. Since all contacts are offline, if I register a new account, it works without any problems. I can't understand what's going on.
We seem to have quite a few Miranda users here. So, could you please recommend the most interesting builds, in your opinion? With a brief description, if possible, or a link.

There's a good website http://miranda-planet.com. It has reviews and download links. I like the Kolibris build. The downside is that it's a beta, but I haven't had any problems with it.
I haven't been able to log into my ICQ for about a week now, so I'm using QIP.
When I log into QIP Infium, my password and account are reset. Reinstalling didn't help. :(
I'm asking for help from those who know. Does this mean my ICQ has been hacked or stolen?:eek: :mad:

I vote for QIP because, as has been mentioned many times above, it is fast, has spam protection, and is lightweight compared to ICQ, and it is also easy to use)))=) If ICQ didn't have all that advertising, it could be used without any problems;)...here...=)

It might be a bit late, but I'll try to help in some way=) Regarding the problem you have, try going to this link: http://qipinfium.ru/faq-po-qip There is an FAQ, and you might find what you need!!! Secondly, I advise you to reinstall QIP Infium on a different drive. Something similar happened to me, and reinstalling it in a different location helped.=) But the fact that everything disappears...that's a problem...it's possible that someone stole your username and password...but it could also be spam...or that there are viruses on your computer=(... But I hope everything works out. In any case, I wish you good luck!!!=)
