Knows the Dark Knight's true identity, unsuccessfully trying to marry him to his daughter Talia and make him his heir.
- (P) Woman-hater: his NA block female characters (Harleen, Pamela, Mary, Barbara, Selina, Andrea).
- (P) Awareness: if he directs an NA at Bruce Wayne – learns about it at the end of the night.

Once a famous actor who got involved with dubious company and voluntarily-involuntarily gained the ability to get too deep into character. Due to side effects, he is not particularly happy about it, but it's not like he had a choice in his condition.

Arnold Wesker

A coerced low-level lackey of his own second personality, embodied in a creepy ventriloquist dummy nicknamed "Scarface" — a cruel and ruthless crime boss. With varying success, tries to return to a normal life.

- (NA) Set minions loose: maims the target, depriving them of a random unlimited NA. Once every three nights.

Mary Dahl

An actress of one role from a once-popular sitcom. Did not cope well with losing fame and attention, trying to bring back the old days. Her further acting career did not pan out due to an illness, thanks to which she looks like a five-year-old child even past thirty.
- (P) I didn't mean to!: ignores killings that were not originally directed at her.
- (NA) Old connections: allows the target to write a note to the newspaper. Works under any circumstances on the original target.
Oswald Cobblepot
Sane
Owner of the respectable nightclub "Iceberg Lounge," an odd but quite law-abiding guy who loves birds and umbrellas. He absolutely cannot be one of Gotham's main crime bosses.
- (P) I've reformed: protection from the first attack.
- (NA) Dig up dirt: survey. Works under any circumstances on the original target.
- (NA) Leak the dirt: publishes a survey from any previous night in obliterated form. May be used together with another NA. Three charges. Dies when the last charge is spent.
Jervis Tetch

Former employee of "Wayne Enterprises," inventor of a brainwashing device. Used it to try to win over his secretary — which is why he became a former employee. Adores the works of Lewis Carroll.

- (DD) Off with their head: redirects the victim's voice to a specified target.
Kirk Langstrom

A talented geneticist who studied animals, a bat specialist. Became a victim of his own genetic experiment.

An unnamed Cuban prisoner chosen for steroid experiments. The experiments succeeded too well — now he is known as one of the world's best hitmen. His immense strength rivals only his genius intellect.

Richard "Dick" Grayson

Bruce's ward, a hereditary circus performer whose parents were killed before his eyes. Has serious disagreements with his adoptive father, but is still ready to unite with him for a common cause.

Timothy "Tim" Drake

Considered the Dark Knight his ideal and role model. When his father, a petty crook, predictably died in criminal disputes, Bruce adopted the boy and began raising him as a successor and ally.

Commissioner James Gordon
Sane
Head of Gotham police. Respected and trusted by subordinates. Works closely with the Dark Knight, though does not fully approve of his methods.

- (NA) Police investigation: silences the target and prevents them from writing during the day for a day. Once every three nights.
Barbara Gordon
Sane
Commissioner Gordon's daughter, ready to do anything to help her father eradicate crime in Gotham. Chose a rather dubious method for this — imposing her company on the Dark Knight, whether he wants it or not. A decent hacker.

- (NA) Data breach: redirects the victim to a specified target. Steals the victim's voice, adds it to her own.
Alfred Pennyworth

Butler of the Wayne family, a true British gentleman, cold-blooded and imperturbable. Seems completely harmless, but has a few tricks up his sleeve. In his youth, worked for British intelligence.

- (NA) Cover your back: goes with the killer. All NA directed at the killer are transferred to himself. Leaves a clue invented by the team.

A cunning and treacherous thief, femme fatale, socialite, and simply an interesting person. In her free time from stealing, fights for animal rights. Loves shiny things, cats, and Gotham's Dark Knight.
- (P) Cat and mouse: cannot be killed by Bruce Wayne. If she directed an NA at him – learns about it at the end of the night.
- (P) Reformation: if Selina and Bruce know each other and Bruce is left alone in his team, joins him.
- (P) Helper cat: may use two NA per night.
- (NA) Theft: steals a random unlimited NA from the target. The target cannot use that NA the following night. Selina receives one charge of the stolen NA. An NA may be stolen from the same player an unlimited number of times.
Harvey Dent
Former district attorney, old friend of Bruce Wayne. Suffers (or enjoys?) split personality. Makes all important decisions by coin toss.
- (P) Duality: at the start of each night, status and set of features are determined randomly.

- (P) Apparent normality: protection from the first kill, protection from the first execution (not restored after reroll).

- (NA) Sentence to confinement in Arkham: killing. Ignores guard.

Andrea Beaumont

She was once going to marry Bruce Wayne, but her father ran into trouble with the local mob, and all plans had to be postponed. Years later, she returned to Gotham to deal with crime once and for all. By very, very radical means.
- (P) Smoke screen: cannot be blocked.
- (P) Retribution: kills the first person who tries to kill her. Disrupts the first execution, killing one of those who voted for her.
- (NA) Angel of death: killing. The victim cannot be healed or resurrected.
